Thank you so much for this wonderful reading, not only so greatly artistically performed, but also so very informative about the biography of A.A. Milne and his relations with his son, and infused with some brilliant ironical footnotes about your surroundings:) I definitely wish you to live until your 666th birthday and to continue making us happy with your new roles, amazing new readings on your channel, and all the other forms of artistic expression you'd probably like to indulge in)

  I stumbled upon this by chance, and I wanted to say I have been a big fan since the first Hellraiser film, almost 40 years ago. Your voice for Pinhead blew me away when I first heard it in the movie theater. Made me wish I could imitate pinhead's voice but I never was able to. I enjoyed hearing you read this story, though I must admit I wish it could have been read with Pinhead's deep, commanding voice. Glad I got to compliment you before either of us passed away. Take care.

  Thank YOU for this wonderful read, Mr. Bradley! What great classics. I've recently watched a screen version of this story, a movie released not so long ago, maybe, in 2021 or 2022, and I quite liked the film as well.

  Loved this! I listen to Lovecraft audiobooks quite a bit, and your rendition of this story was a stand out. It's the voices - like you can hear the difference between Carter and Warren and Whoever That Was In the End. Warren's despair and Carter's panic really comes through. I also love how you lean into the big reveal in the end (one of Lovecraft's habits is telegraphing his big twist endings and then drawing out the reveal by a whole bunch of 'oh shit it was so horrible' sentences so that sometimes I can't help find it funnier rather than scary). In this version, I liked how you rolled with the timing so that when it hits the ending, it brings home the whole horror of the experience. Hoping for more spooky short stories!
