Fletcher Farms Amarillo, LLC.
Our journey began when we purchased 43 acres in Amarillo, Texas at the beginning of 2022. It all started with a donkey who we found on Craigslist needing a new home. Jack the donkey couldn't be the only animal on the farm. We needed to find him a pasture pal and a few weeks later we rescued a Jenny donkey with her 1 week old baby from going to slaughter along with 6 Belgian Draft Horses! Come to find out the Jenny donkey was pregnant when we rescued her and she had a baby in January 2023. After learning about the horrible treatment of Belgian Draft Horses and why they end up at kill-pens my husband, Cory and I wanted to help rescue as many of these horses as we could. At the end of 2022, we started a 501c3 Non-Profit organization called the Big Hoof Foundation to save more of the "Big Hoof" horses. Since starting the farm and foundation we have rescued 33 Belgian Draft horses from shipping to slaughter.

Horses are just big dogs.
people are starting to wonder if you are okay at the farm? what has happened? no videos, update or news for over 6wks? i hope you are all okay?
Oh boy. That could have been a huge problem if that horse caught its leg in the gap. ❤
Hope all is well worried

Camel looks lonely
Ok momma!
Poorly used sweet animal. Thank u 4 giving this horse soul a life she desevers
When Monty’s son died.. I wonder if the phone calls stopped.
Okay the fact that the horse is doing this means you have to change the gate and put a safer gate because you can already see when you're not there that's problems are going to happen and the horses going to get hurt and possibly destroy things in the process who cares about the thing but the horse is going to get hurt if you don't do something about this immediately
You have a devined given concern from Heavenly Father.
Thank you for reconizing the pecking order. Work with horses and when I say one is one bottom of pecking order am looked at like insane. Lol.

Their back arch shows everything they been through or it's normal?
You should put in the middle next time. Or else people who wanted to repost the video and crop it.
Guy is really hungry!!
Ohio Amish are terrible to their animals. I live in Ohio and I see ribby horses all the time.
Love,patience,food,water kindness always good medicine.❤
Try a couple of bags of stall wood pellets around water trough. Works great. Never gravel, gives them stone bruises.
There are portable Xrays. Find a vet that has those. Try HOOF BOSS for hoof trimming, works great. Always put out extra feeders for those low on totem pole. We have a laminitic elder pony and give her Buteless and CBD pellets 2xs a day, all per her body weight. Try innovetpet for cbd equine pellets.
Another nut ..Jeremy he doesn't have any thing to but sue..lol
Such great progress. I'd love to see you create a GOFUND ME for sun shelters/ water catchment system and storage in your pastures. i know that high altitude summer heat is brutal and you really need those. Rig them to also be water collectors with a catch gutter wrap, and factor that cost into you dollar request. YOU CAN DO IT, PEOPLE WILL HELP! Also, ask for your area compatible pasture seed and reseed those pastures in Fall when rain comes with perennial forage grasses. GO GIRL!!
I'd donate for this ..... great ideas
@@jillmarie4155 "If you build it, they will come." I'm so proud of her for the wonderful work she does. I hope she reads her comments and tries it. Thx for having a big heart too!

Smart, sturdy - a fine horse and you’re obviously very proud of him. Lovely Jane
He wants to run -- let him out !
No, he is hungry. Read before you comment
I just love the verbal interaction between Korbin and the other boys. Julie - what you both have created is just wonderful. I wish you every continuing success with all the horses. xx
