When your control rods are nearly at 100% with practically no boric acid in the internal loop... aka, will last about 10-14 days in game ✌️

Hi my buddy, in the latest update, we have 3 steam turbines. I buy full of them, but I'm getting trouble with controlling all 3 steam turbines, the rpm hit 2000 and then turn to 0. But when I run 2 of them, it works fine, I don't know why (I opened all the valve)
I'm only just working with them currently but I haven't experienced what your explaining... Also admin valves must be at 100% and your bypass valves must be at 0% for max power to be output... now there are 3 Synchroscopes, something may have broken in the code possibly? 🤓🤔

Hmmmmmm... seems like a bug, kinda wouldn't be surprised as it's only just been added in the last week or 2. Shouldn't stay broken for to long if you make a bug report, try to include screenshots or even the actual. Xml save game file in the report itself
Idk if it's a good way to run the reactor but I like to start out, filling the boric acid to the 3600ppm and then pulling the rods out to let the reactor warm up slowly and in a stable manner, it avoids these huge jumps of iodine and xenon. It does take a while for the reactor to get to operating tempature but it doesn't create these ever changing ripples of reactivity.
Yes and since this episode release, there have been many changes to the production of chemicals etc. ✌️

I have tried to but what I expect to happen with the Xenon and Iodine just doesn't rise etc. I think the dev still has a bit of work to do on shut downs as it's far from realistic atm 😇✌️

Startup is ok, runs constantly is ok, I have only trouble with the shutdown for maintenance. I inserted the rod and the temperature decreased to 19 degrees, but the Reactive light is still blinking red and yellow. My vessel is full of boron, can you show me the shutdown procedure step by step?

And a new update recently added a whole new floor to the facility. Now each loop has it's own turbine and the new floor was added to give room to these turbines. So maybe a new tour through the facility video?

Finally, I found a way to maintain the reactor with Boron levels (which is to keep the Reactivity meter at the middle, green level). But I only maintained the reactor until the 4th day. One phenomenon that occurred was that the Boron filter pump was broken, I had AO repair it, but after the repair was completed, turning on the Boron filter pump, it works for 5 seconds then fails again. I ordered AO to fix it again, but when it was done, it continued to break again. Is this a game bug or a player fault? If you know, can you share me the way to fix it (filter pump)? Thank you very much 🎉
May be a bug in the game, and the best way would be to report it via the Nucleares Discord. It may also be due to having too much coolant in your internal vessel, and your boron pump cannot pump anymore in due to it having no room, etc. 😇🤔✌️

Your filter pump works a little differently and has a capacity of effectiveness... in other words if it gets to 0% capacity, then you cannot filter any Boron out of the core (to increase reactivity and temp) till a filter clean is completed

That's the one, couldn't remember the correct name off the top of my head lol.... May possibly be due to a bug then perhaps? Try bringing it up to 100% and make sure the valves are in the correct operating position and try again? 🤔🤓
Oi, Oi, Oi. I enjoyed this video just like the rest you have put out, I watch them like a chimp watching planes taking off and landing, with the cargo drone being all yellow I kept getting hungry for a banana. (Lol, bahaha) At least I laughed or it maybe the voices in the ceiling, insomnia is a bugger of a thing. Haven't slept since Monday night so things were a little hard to follow, my fault not yours obviously. You may recall that I was getting ready to try a build and setup the flight paths etc for a cargo drone of my own, anyway, all that work is gone now so it's back to the beginning for me again Doh! Sometime in the last 40 hours I changed the direction of the builds I was working on, am excited about the new-ish ideas but still disappointed that I didn't get to follow through with emulating your body of work. I want to try and do some strip mining like they do up north and for that I want seperate mining and cargo transports, my big secret is I'm going to try completely asymmetrical ships that slot together for moving to the next ore site. Hope you are enjoying the Chernobyl game, that would have grabbed me back in the old days, back when I had a working brain and memory. There's a dial on the fuel panel I believe, thermal efficiency, it's how much electricity you're generating from the heat produced. I also can't figure out how to drop the core inlet temperature to the green area any ideas?
That is the amount of fuel your using to produce the heat your making etc... Also with the core inlet temp, that is normal for it to be in the orange and hasn't changed since release ✌️ Thermal efficiency is reduced by lowering the Cores use or its temp... around 10-15 is probably the most efficient 1 can get currently at low power... Hope this makes sense and helps or answers your question 🤔😇✌️

It did have co-op but was severely buggy as apparently servers through steam or otherwise would be difficult and expensive with the current state of the games coding etc. ✌️😥

Does Boron dosing kill Xenon-135? I'm getting trouble after 1 day in-game time, my reactor coolant is full of Xenon (and Boron too). It kills the reaction and I can't startup again 😢. I thought that Boron also kill Xenon, but now both Boron and Xenon are killing the reaction and no way to start it up 😢😢
Boron (boric acid) controls the reactivity and temperature of the core/fuel and xenon is a by-product of the reaction occurring itself... I have many tutorial videos available with chemicals to watch that will help 🤔✌️
How do you stop the projector from connecting to the ship you build
Use a merge block in between and turn 1 of them off to disconnect 🤔

According to the game developer, Xenon absorbs neutrons very strongly, but Boron also absorbs neutrons. So I wonder why do we have to inject Boron into the reactor core when Boron and Xenon both absorb neutrons?
Because 1 is used to control the reactivity and temperature of the reactor and the other is a by-product of the 1st reaction 🤓
I'm trying to understand the Chemical Treatment features in this game, there are Xenon, Iodine, Boron, Sodium Hydroxide, pH, etc. My brain is overloaded. Can you explain it for me in a nutshell? Thanks in advance!
Unfortunately there isn't a simple way to say here but there is many videos available to watch that will help explain things better than I can here ✌️😇
Field excitation changes the current through the exciter which will allow you to change the voltage without changing the RPM. I suppose the game already starts with the field excitation set correctly to generate 22kV without having to fiddle with it. It would be interesting in the future for the grid voltage to fluctuate (like it would in real life) so that you would need to adjust both the voltage and the RPM before closing the breaker.
It will fluctuate if your power exceeds demand and the resistors can't take the load ✌️

I'm a newbie, can you show me how to refuel the core?
I can explain simply(ish) The control panel where you insert the core to start the Reactor... go to that panel and on the left of it is a keypad, that is to remove the old fuel rod waste into storage (press 1 then enter)... the keypad to its right will allow you to bring over a new fuel rod all using the automated process of the crane ✌️😎 (same thing press 1 and enter)

Possibly due to a new game and your core hasnt been used at all?

I'm struggling with this because I'm making a drone that runs on rails. It has two connectors and somehow I can't get it to do anything past Loading at Drill. It will get to the second point, load, unlock, but won't RTB. The AI blocks are on so...I'm not sure. I'm betting on user error because I refuse to believe something is wrong with the video since it works here. Back to the drawing board I suppose. EDIT: Could it be because I'm on rails it doesn't know it just needs to turn on reverse? I would think it would know it doesn't need to turn around. The RTB block says it's trying to get to Waypoint one but, never moves.
Precision mode must be ON and collision avoidance must be OFF at all times... also only 1 AI recorder/Basic block can only be on/active at one time... (turn 1 AI block off to turn the other on but the AI Move block must be on during its whole flight, as i use 2 recorder blocks, 1 for drill docking and another 1 for base docking...) Hope this works or helps ✌️
If that doesn't work... try by only using Remote Control Blocks 🤔✌️
@@ShArPy1o1Games I'm going with the remote block route but it's ... a mess. The reason it wasn't working before with the AI recorder, is it wanted to turn the train around and needed gyros.
Might be good to use the Remote Block but change its direction from forwards to backwards... pretty sure that would work as the new AI block etc. don't have that feature

hi, im strugling with chemicals addon, begining looks very smilar to your video, but iodine levels are very slowly rising and rising, and after 3-4 days levels are out the roof, and reactor is just stoping, and i dont know what to do to drop iodine levels it always rises. day 3 4:00am and reactor is slowly stoping even with rods all out and boric acid 1200 and filtering it at 100% speed to try to save reactor. for most of the time i hold core temp aroung 370~ ( +/- 10 )

Yes... another tip is when your ramming the Missiles into an enemy.... Use a sensor on the front of the Missile to detonate the warheads when it gets within 6m of the enemies grid... does more damage that way compared to just ramming the enemy 😇😎👌

That is more stable of coarse but the way I have it's logic set up through timers and event controllers, it makes it easier... I do have a Tutorial releasing late tomorrow where I will be rebuilding the Smart AI Cargo Drone from Scratch eventually getting into some serious vanilla programming
How do you lower your core volume level so you have space to inject Boron in the Chemical update, it keeps telling me my Boron Dosing pump is overloaded, which I assume is because it has no space to pump in boron

If you had top down earth you would have been dandy. I do it all the time. I have played since day 1. 15k hours and about 8 of them are missiles and drones so I can safely say I have mastered this area. Clusters on 90% of planet you almost always want to top down them.

Use the valve panel in the Control Room and match up the valve names/numbers with the actual physical valves around the plant/facility? That may be a good small tutorial to go around and explain each gauge and what it does overall etc.? 🤔🤯👌

Download it and move it wherever you want... the Mods will only work when they are placed in the correct locations within the game folder 👌😎✌️

They are your licences to operate the plant... fail an audit... lose 1, lose them all and you will need to start again 🤯👌

I have another question you might be able to answer, I couldn't find anything about this in the manual or steam guides...so for max power without melting rods you keep the core at 360...the description says operating range is 306 but that is inconsistent with the operation level indicator which seems to go off at around 328. And on top of that I have 10% higher thermal efficiency when running the core really cold around 220. Is there any advantage to running it higher than that if you don't have any problems delivering your quota?

I really like that you've been bringing a lot of attention to this underated game. That said, and don't take this the wrong way, I think the "youtuber" voice and cadence needs to be turned down a few notches. As someone looking at these videos to learn a thing or two about the game, it comes across as a bit abrasive and "phoney". In general, youtube is best when it feels like you're listening to someone just sharing their passion and not when someone is putting on a "show". If I wanted a show I would watch TV. Listen to youtubers Hyce and Scott Manley and you'll see what I mean.
I honestly don't know what u mean as this took me a few tries at recording to get right without messing a step up or saying something incorrect... it can be hard to do what your asking sometimes with such a complex game... to many things going on at the same time to just "go with the flow". I hope this helps? 😇✌️
