Sorry, taking a good handling 60's car and by passing the mid engine upgrade to make a 60's car that can go fast straight doesnt seem logical? You wouldn't turn a 69 Camaro into a mid engine even if it improved performance would you??? Now ,,, do appreciate their skills and like many other builds like this, I really enjoy seeing what modern stying can do to a good looking 60's car.

I think the hammer forming works better then bead rolling because you're able to stretch the metal in the detail part. Less final panel warpage. You can pre stretch before bead rolling but it's time consuming and not guaranteed to prevent all of the warpage.

I use straight rulers for anything I can. Have a variety of lengths and always measure off the 1" mark. I also scribe all my marks but I'm probably 15 years younger so I can see those marks still, lol . I don't have the patience for sharpies that quit writing on sheetmetal.

I use the Stanley 25' imperial tape measures all the time. $6.00 at Rona in Canada. I cover the first two feet in packing tape to protect the numbers.

Total professional shop. One thing I've learned in my own home shop is to keep it clean and organized. That environment puts me in a frame of mind to do a good job. I know, things get scattered when you're working. I just make it a point to pick up and clean up every day. Just makes the next day start better.
