Twin Turbo 69 Corvair • Part 4 • Rear Floors
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this video, we continue fabrication on Denny's 69 Chevrolet Corvair. Scott makes custom rear floors to cover the chassis before we start on the custom rear wheel tubs. This car will be getting a brand new Nelson Racing twin-turbo LS V8 and it'll be moved up front. This car will sit on a custom Roadster Shop chassis with massive 6-piston Brembo brakes. It'll also be getting tons of metal fabrication, custom interior, custom wheels, and so much more. Make sure to follow this build closely, it'll be a wild one!

Nice work.
Отличная работа Мастера! 👍💪🤝 Напоминает работу Бойда Кодингтона и Чипа Фуза!
This car will be incredible. Thanks for taking us along for another wild ride. I appreciate your time and efforts to make these videos. Great work.
The skills and craftsmanship are beyond compare!!
Man. Scott really knows his shit when it comes to fabricating.
Metal work is outstanding great work Scott.
Great job!! We don’t have any good custom shops in Miami like this. Love all classic cars!!!! Great job!
I do enjoy these build videos. So much that I will tell you guy a tip for bending radius on bead rolled pieces, with slip roller: cut supporting pieces from 1/8" ~3mm MDF. Fit in your beaded pattern. Both side of the panel. Usually they are them different shape. But so that it will supports the beads and doesnt flat it when running through roller. This is how I bend pieces like drive shaft tunnel with beads on it. Hope you try this next time.👊 Keep it up.

Would it be easier to do the roll first, then bead roll it after?

@@tezzrterry7485 Personally I would have changed the order of operations: Cut out the overall shape, roll the radius, put in the bead, cut out drive shaft hole, and brake the bends.
A appreciate the detailed explanation of how you are proceeding with this particular part and discussing with camera man/us…really cool. Thanks!

Great helpful tips! I love watching this channel. In fact its the only one I watch at normal speed. I even slow it down and rewatch some of the work to really understand what's happening.

Metall-Gott🙏❤❤❤
Ur a fnnnnnnn master thats great work
I've used a slip roller for putting a radius into panels I've put detail into.
My youngest brother built a Crown style '67 corvair 350ci back seat conversion in 1971. They are a great style for a conversion EXCEPT for the length of the butt. Maybe a few inches shorter would make it "perkier".
Just want to say I love the videos. Your camera work is as seamless and so well shot..it's equal to the production of the Television show prior. One of the best video quality and sound for this format on KZread. Well done and thank you for putting the extra work in polishing up the content. I don't know if your present video guy was around during the TV show..but it sure seems like he 0:37 was and learned a LOT. (ILMBO! I'm sure if someone in the shop reads this comment..they'll ask if you had a relative write this?)

I appreciate the kind words. I was around for both seasons of our tv show, I even helped film a little when they needed an extra camera. Thanks for watching! - Tim
