Rear Trans Tunnel • Twin Turbo 69 Corvair

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Part 6 • Rear Trans Tunnel
In this video, we continue fabrication on Denny's 69 Chevrolet Corvair. Scott makes the rear section of the transmission tunnel. This car will be getting a brand new Nelson Racing twin-turbo LS V8 and it'll be moved up front. This car will sit on a custom Roadster Shop chassis with massive 6-piston Brembo brakes. It'll also be getting tons of metal fabrication, custom interior, custom wheels, and so much more. Make sure to follow this build closely, it'll be a wild one!

Love these videos. they are way more informative than watching a show on TV because we get to see the work being done and how the guys figure out how to make something work . Where as for tv they tell you we're going to do this and that and then they show it done . Plus, with your videos, it's not like watching an info commercial with them naming all the products they're using .

You’re going to find that the radiator is not going to remove the heat from the engine and you are not going to like the results of what you’re doing. You are going to end up having cooling done from the back of the car. Your radiator doesn’t solve the thermodynamics of what you’re trying to do. The radiator is not big enough.. ! Back to the drawing boards guys!! This has been issues with Corvair front engines for years. Move the turbo to the sides . To much heat in that compartment.
