Can I ask how it looks after a few years. I find these t&g boards always move about or perhaps that is why you put glue under ?? Great Video
It's still fine, as it has been maintained (painted). The key to keeping gates in good condition is to paint them often. Thanks for the comment
My K5 did not turn on. While I was watching videos to by me a new one I came accros your video. And indeed after 5 minutes my pressure washer came alive again. Thanks.
Glad I could help
You didn't do anything to prevent moisture from getting into the wall where you drilled. You should shoot some caulk of sealant in the hole you drilled before putting the fastner i
It's a cavity wall, like most walls here in the UK, so no need. Also, the fixings did not go through the first course of brick, so no moisture would get in anyway. Thanks for the comment
2 yr old K2 now working. Brilliant - thank you
Glad it helped mate !
Thanks
No problem
Four years on, still a legend, bought a K2 wouldn't fire up. Life saver
Doesn't feel like that long ago I made this video.........time flys !
Thank you!!!
😎👍
Can it cut skin ?
Human or animal ? 😂
@@Bacrenfencing your skin.
@@disshankchauhaan8652 YEP !!
@@Bacrenfencing u r wrong. It can not cut skin if it is oscillating saw. Just try it. And u will be surprised.
@@Bacrenfencing it can't cut skin as it is oscillating tool. Just try it and u will be surprised.
Just worked to fix my K2, thanks. I was just about to bin it when I saw this
Glad I could help
I was about to throw away. Luckily watched your video and sort the problem out. Happy days 😊 Thanks a lot
Glad it helped mate !
Thanks a lot for this. I was on my way to buy a new K2.360 as it stopped to work like yours. I followed your instructions and it works! Thanks a lot from Cape Town, South Africa
Thanks for the comment and greetings from Scotland UK 😊
Does screwing holes though the PostSaver void the warranty?
No, I don't think so as both products are from the same company.
I’ll spare you the details but u have just saved the day with this video, top man!
Great, thanks for the comment !
Hi, I am adding a railing to my small front stoop. I have 4x4 posts and I want to attach one of them to the house. The house wall is brick but it is EXTREMELY uneven. I don't know what to call that type of brick but they are full of bumps and when I place anything straight and flat against that wall, I see spaces as big as 1/2" - or even more. Do I need some kind of shims to put between the 4x4 and the house wall? If so, how do I attach those shims behind the post. I don't want concrete/masonry screws to show behind the post and I don't know what to do. Please help. I would really appreciate it. I have seen quite a few videos on KZread but I haven't seen a case where the bricks are so uneven. I would appreciate your advice. Kind regards.
Just attach the post like I did in this video and then use fence slats scribed to the wall to cover the gaps between the post and the wall. No need to shim if you have a couple of good points of contact.
@@Bacrenfencing Thank you so much. But please tell me: what do I need to I scribe fence slats. I don't have a lot of tools. Once it is done, how do I attach them to the wall? Please forgive all these questions. I am a senior and try to learn from KZread. Do you have a drawing or a video I could see?
Thanks, this saved my arse today, top man.
😂
Thank you so much, it worked!
You're welcome!
Thank you so much, your tip worked for me
Glad it helped
Shadow line is better. If you've got a small shop, then the space savings of the Makita win-out. If you also have measured stops for repeat cuts in your shop, then the line doesn't really matter.
Agreed, I use the makita for the space saving and also use the dewalt for angled cuts using the shadow line, so much easier to get an accurate cut with the shadow line. The Makita laser is terrible.
I tried it before taking karcher apart and it worked, thank you so much for awesome tip
You're welcome!
Magic! Worked a treat - thank you for posting :-)
You're welcome!
6:30 man. we can't see the blade.
it's just a flat blade with a curvy edge as seen in the footage after 6:30
Fantastic and informative. Got mine working in 5 mins. Saved me from replacing my washer.
Great to hear!
What if you have water going in but nothing coming back through? Does the pump have a safety of any kind to block water flowing through it?
Sounds like a simple blockage to me, should be easy enough to fix.
Worked for me, but I also had to disconnect the hose at the unit and let it run for 10 mins. Thanks so much 👍
Glad it helped
Thanks mate it worked for me, I was literally to buy a new one today. Cheers
Glad I could help, great that this saved you money !
Thanks👍
No problem 👍
You absolute hero 😊😊
Thanks !
Washed the drive court, everything was ok! Then it stopped, the K4 kept tripping the house’s main!! Called the local repair man, says it’s a recurring problem! Time to throw it away and get a new one!! Only used it 5-6 times and it’s only 4-5 yrs old!!! WTF
not good !
IF THIS DOESN’T WORK!!! Try this because i was trying this method for hours with no joy… Plug the unit in and SWITCH IT ON. Attach the water and turn it on to the best pressure you can get. Leave the GUN PART attached with no attachment on. Spray water through the gun and shake the unit around to help clear the air. After about 30 seconds it will kick into life by itself!!
Thanks for the comment, hopefully it helps more people - thank you !
You are FANTASTIC !!👍👍👍👍👍👍 Just about to ring Karcher - then I found your video. Saved me a fortune. Thank you so much. You're an absolute star🤩🤩 Just sent a small donation.
Thanks Andrea, I'm happy that this worked for you and thank you for the donation - that was very kind of you. All the best !
Does it give this advice in the instructions book when you buy it ? Seems like it should
Not to my knowledge
Hi How do you refit the plate and kickstand?
Not sure, never had to do it
@@Bacrenfencing hi thanks for the reply
Brilliant but when I put the lance hose back on the lance it sort of stops, then I do your trick with no lance on the lance hose machine works perfectly and switch goes off and on like a good’s. Any more pearls of wisdom and thanks so much for sharing
Not sure ?
Have you had much issues with the DeWalt gun was thinking of getting one but won't be using it on treated timbers just regular timbers
The dewalt has been far more reliable than the paslode to be honest. Not really caused me any issues, I just prefer the power and speed of the paslode, but would certainly recommend the Dewalt.
Thank you so much for this video. Its exactly what happened.
You are so welcome
Thanks, you just saved me a new jet washer
Great to hear, thanks for the comment !
Didn’t work for me, gutted
Ah, sorry to hear that.
great video thanks for that mate.. will be doing this in a few weeks :)
No problem 👍
Hi great video! I was a little disappointed because I thought that the gate door was going to be installed between 2 stucco walls without fence (according to your thumb nail pic). I really need info on attach post to stucco walls and mounting the gate door between the 2 walls. Maybe you have a video like That? Would like to hear your feedback, thanks!!
Spot on! Cheers
Thank you! Cheers!
Didn't fix my problem...
👎
Brilliant thank you so much worked a treat - had almost given up on it!
You're welcome!
Worked like a charm! Thank you!!
👍
Worked for my K4 🎉 thank you
No problem 👍
I've been recommended to use stainless steel staples, 1 3/4 in.. do you have any feedback for this?
It depends on the type of fence slats that you are fixing ? What is the size of the slats ?
if this fixes my K1 i will kiss you
Did it work ?
@@Bacrenfencing Not this time but not because of what is shown in video - the plug was missing the earth it had snapped off! Ordered a replacement power cable hopefully that will be that. Cheers
👍
You need too learn how to use the hammer
😎👍
Legend. I dont even have a karcher, have a Lavore. The same exact issue occured. The hose was fixed wrongly onto the pressure gun. As soon as I disconnected it it started working again
😎👍
Many thanks....just had my finger on the buy now button to replace my K4 ....thought I'd give your video a watch....working perfectly....I wish you well sir.....POD62....
No problem 👍
Thanks You are really a master
