The only people I heard bitching about Morgan's dancing were good old boys, the antithesis of "Becky from Berkley". They were using Morgan as an example saying Becky from Berkley is a hypocrite for calling out white people, not black people for superficially similar things (as long as you ignore history). See Beau of the Fifth Column who called that cultural appreciation, not appropriation, back in 2020. I assumed based on your title you were familiar with his work.

Do you know so and so... that happened to me on the reg in the 90s when I moved to Europe from California, particularly Belfast. I was constantly asked which movie star I lived next to, had I ever met Elvis? and so on. It did pay off in the reverse once. My Uncle's friend who asked if I knew Kevin once he learned I lived in Lund, sweden. Runner Kevin? Runner PHd Kevin? Yeah I do.
