  Moronic babel by war criminals bragging about chemical warfare used on "every province" in country. We attempted a genocide to support a corrupt Catholic regime that very few Vietnamese supported. The gov of South Viet Nam was a French colonial fictions so we could sell arms, and show the Russians we could fight a war no one believed in. As someone said, we bombed them into accepting our concessions. McCain was FOS, the war was over our army was falling apart from drug use and insubordination, we lost. Of course, Nixon won re-election, opened China and our manufacturing, later chip building etc went there. But the rich got richer, and since then we've lost the war on terror, and can't even secure our own borders. No one blame the military, they have the best generals and golf courses in the world.

  Robert Rogers Ranger was a British Army officer, not American. The Queens Rangers. The USA did not exist when he was born in 1731. He died in London aged 63. The word "Ranger" comes from Scottish border Rangers. The origins and inspiration of all special forces since WW2 were formulated from the legendary Army "Commandos" (green berets) of WW2. The Commandos were created by Churchill in 1940 utilising unconventional (ungentlemanly warfare) to "Set Europe ablaze" using the British Combined Operations and the Commando concept. Classic unconventional Commando skills and speed marching etc paved the way and is the blueprint of all other nations special forces. Over 25000 troops from all over the world were trained in unconventional Commando warefare skills at Achnacarry Scotland (Commando country). The USA did not have any special forces or Commando-type units until WW2. The first were the 1st and 29th provisional Rangers which were born in Achnacarry Scotland under Lord Lovats Commandos in 1942.   Sending Benteen and his batallion away from the rest of the regiment was obviously a critical mistake made by Custer on that fateful day, but sending an Italian orderly who could not even speak proper English with further orders for Benteen was the height of stupidity - no wonder only a garbled message was received and then misunderstood by Benteen.
