    Since the purchase of this Rockford Fosgate primary Amplifier. I have to pull the nain fuse from time to time to get sound as it inadvertently stops producing sound. Harley Davidson answer to my problem take it to the dealer who is now charging me normal diagnostic rates. Brand new 2024 Roadglide and Amplifier purchased from Harley dealership. I dont foresee the Harley Davidson brand being around much longer producing this type of product. Beyond disappointed to say the least.

    Sorry your having intermittent issues. We understand from Harley-Davidson this inadvertent no output from the audio system is caused by Skyline OS, not the amplifier. We would advise the dealership to update the IFCU under warranty and not charge a "diagnostic" rate, because there's nothing to diagnose with the amplifier. Ironically, there is an amplifier update but that is an update to the built-in Dynamic EQ (M-DEQ) settings based on rider's feedback. However, if the shop updates the IFCU, it's just as easy to do the amplifier update as well. You can find out more info on M-DEQ and how it works inside the amplifier here: rockfordfosgate.com/products/system/factory-installed-systems/2024-h-d-road-glide-street-glide/#tech2

    @@rockfordfosgate - My 2024 is currently at Huntington Beach Harley in So.California. It's a high possibility that I'm going to be charged for the diagnostic per the service writer. Also per the Rockford Fosgate primary Amplifier instructions that came with the aforementioned Amplifier it didn't make mention of updates,flash being required. It was sold to me through the Harley dealer as plug and play of which it seemly was for the sake of conversation. Nevertheless the dealer is now stating while you installed it yourself. I'm like well why would I not if it's plug and play and it doesn't void the warranty if I do it myself. Blah,blah.

    @@dippa1965 appreciate the information, and you’re right…this amp is plug-and-play and was developed with Harley-Davidson, so it should not void any warranty. To the best of our knowledge, our technicians started hearing about this with factory systems (untouched with any upgrades) and it appears to be an issue inside Skyline OS. I’m hoping there are service advisories on it by now. Once Skyline is updated, it’s fixed the audio routing issue for every customer we have talked to.

My question is after changing pipes and a wearing a full face helmet, can you still hear the music? And is this the only option for the ST or do you make a more powerful system for this bike? Also do you make speakers that can be added to the saddle bags that would interface with the fairing speakers or are front speakers my only option? This wires the Dual 2Ω voice coils in series to create a 4Ω load. The subwoofer rear channels are wired in bridged/mono mode to this 4Ω load. Each channel operating in a bridged/mono configuration will "see" half the impedance load, so essentially the Left channel will see 2Ω and the Right channel will see 2Ω: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lqKEw5eHd5itoLg.html

    Dose a bass knob come included or do I have to buy one?

  • @rockfordfosgate
    @rockfordfosgateАй бұрын

    The sub level is built into the PMX radio, so there is no "bass knob" available for this kit. We have pre-tuned the kit for the best overall performance and the sub level and built-in EQ can be fine tuned to your taste in music. However, keep in mind, this is an "open air" vehicle that has a different type of bass response compared to a "closed environment" like a car, truck, or SUV.

    I have a problem with this amp not having any sound randomly and I have to pull the main fuse and it will work for 3 are 4 days then does the same thing any suggestions?

    I'm sorry you're having this issue. Are you referring to the factory equipped silver amplifier or this upgraded black amp as shown in this video? If it's the silver amplifier, there are updates for SKYLINE OS that should fix this. If it's the black amplifier, there is an additional EQ update (unrelated to the amp turning off randomly). You can have your H-D dealership do them for you since you likely just purchased your motorcycle.

    @@brandonmartin506 We would suggest having the H-D Dealership doing a SKYLINE OS update to fix this issue.

    Yes, absolutely! It features a high powered 250 Watt amplifier that screams. You can see reviews on the H-D website: www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/shop/harley-davidson-audio-powered-by-rockford-fosgate-inner-fairing-audio-kit/p/76200037

    Had this unit installed recently on my 14 SGS by Area 51 customs out of Dothan Alabama. What I was not told was how to view engine parameters. How can I see my oil pressure using the radio? Factory setup was just pressing the right side turn signal/information button I press it now and that’s no longer that buttons function

    Those functions are currently being worked on and we plan to have them out in the coming months (to access the motorcycle information, you will press the "i" icon). We have a Quick Start Guide that will walk you through the most popular functions here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mYlnm8mamrK7ecY.html
