Yes, the DSP has configurations that auto load once the CANbus interface detects what radio model it’s talking to.

When you say select models does that mean excluding RHD variants? I know that the front speaker pods in RHD are different to LHD (they're basically mirror image) as I had issues installing the Metra pods in my RHD Wrangler and assume you haven't had access to and RHD variant.

We have compatibility charts illustrating what models these kits are compatible for on the product details pages found in the. description of this video. We have only tested and installed these on Right Hand Drive models here in the US. Unfortunately, we can't definitively give compatibility for Left Hand Drive models.

How's the development of a kit for the 2024 model coming? I have 2 of them with the non Alpine setup and they're both worse than cheap headphones

2024 models are hard to get a hold of right now, so we'll be sure to look at the differences once we get one in the shop.

Will this work on 2 door models with factory alpine?

This is only designed for 4-door models with/without the factory Alpine system.

High performance audio systems aren't for everyone, but for those who invest in new suspension, wheels, winch, etc, it's worth the value if purchased them separately.

There are 5 HUGE differences between the RF and the MBQ kits: 1) RADIO: The MBQ kit requires you to purchase an aftermarket source unit. The most common radio is the Stinger $999 radio you'd need to add to the MBQ kit. The RF kit partnered with iDatalink Maestro to develop a true OEM interface for the Jeep Can-Bus system, so you get to keep your factory radio and all the controls it has built-in. 2) DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSOR: The MBQ has no DSP. The RF again, has a Can-Bus connected DSP with a Jeep Wrangler / Gladiator specific tune done by professional acoustical engineers and a 6-microphone array. Add $500 to the MBQ kit just for the DSP, then you have to pay someone to tune it for you. 3) SPEAKERS: The MBQ 6x9" requires you to actually cut the sound-bar with a Dremel just to add the speakers, where the RF has a complete plug-and-play replacement overhead sound-bar. Add $300 to the MBQ kit for a true plug-and-play system. 4) SUBWOOFERS: Shockingly, the MBQ kits don't include subwoofers. The RF Wrangler Unlimited comes with Dual 12" subs with Enclosures. The RF Gladiator comes with Dual 10" subs with under bench enclosure. Add $1,000 to the MBQ kit. 5) AMPS: The MBW only has 800W (2x 400W amps), where the RF has 1,800W (1x 1,000W and 1x 800W). You would need to add the MBQ 1,000W amp for $200, but you would still be 400W short. The interior of the Jeep is noisy and you need this power. Overall, you'll spend just as much - if not more - to make the kits equivalent. The Rockford Fosgate kit is the only TRUE plug-and-play system on the market.
