Thanks for checking out our channel. Big Wheels Motoring was a brand we started back in 2009 as a motoring theme café. It was effectively India’s 1st motoring theme café. The idea was to evolve and expand on our passion for motorcycles and overall motoring!
After successfully running it for 3 years, we closed the café on a high note in 2012, thinking we will start it again someday.
My daughter pushed me into creating this channel on youtube and along with my wife, is helping me create some content. Her idea is to keep the brand alive by getting me to put my 25+ years of motoring experience and journeys into perspective for youtube community while I continue to evolve and create more exciting journeys with my motorcycles.
Frankly for me: I am just happy to be doing something I love with people I love!
If you want to be a part of our motoring journey, please do subscribe and stay tuned.
Cheers,

very informative video. Thank you sir.
Waterproof or not?
@@jarmago7750 the water might seep in from the edges (Rubber bidding) in heavy rains..but its not too much.
So with stock alloys and BFGs, the wheel set up is as good as a original, right?
The BFG’s are a tough / hard rubber compound…so the drive quality is hard.
@@bigwheelsmotoring3642 Yeah am aware . Have used them on my earlier car for 80k kms. Just wanted to know if the wheels foul with stock alloys. Got the answer . Thanks :)
i need those lights
Why would you consider neg offset. Seriously stock off set p30. Put on p5 to p10 perfect. 50mm track increae in width. You always want to makectrack wider for stability not narrower???. Fuel p7 offset is perfect in 17 inch dia
amazing review sir, perfect explaination
Lift kit
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks 😊
Put a lift kit and then try again 😂
What is it with some people wearing jeans offroading, it looks really wierd.
Very helpful, just what I wanted to know about my hilux
is this the Temu version of the GR sport?
Did it solve the wind / buffeting issue? Am looking for a solution to a similar issue on my DX.
Is 950 still sell in India??
Did it solve helmet buffet-ting issue?
Yes it did…but created another problem…no wind reaching the rider to blow out the hot air from the riding jacket…basically the rider then is sitting behind a huge screen with not enough wind coming through to cool down.
@bigwheelsmotoring3642 Have the same bike. I'm thinking if ProSpec wind shield extender would help, it does have some gap in between. By the way, thanks for your response.
What model demo tech is your tank bag please?
Its the SW motech PRO micro tank bag, 3 to 5 ltrs of space.
@@bigwheelsmotoring3642 Thank you… just ordered it ( the Kreiga harness off the scrambler didn’t fit)
bikes tall for u
I loved your video you both nailed it😊 I have a Hypermotard RVE 950 2022 I will buy the demo tech rear bag… I use Kreiga on the front
Great overview of your packing loadout. Can I ask a question : how well did the Desert X with aux tank fare with your load over the 20 days? I have ordered a Desert X Rally, and have optioned the rear tank (I'm in Australia and the extra range is a necessity for some trips) - and I am going to take cues from you re the Mosko Reckless 40 fitting. Do you still use this packing system with aux tank? Anything I should be mindful of if loading the tank up with soft luggage? Cheers and happy trails to you!
Thanks Tori. The aux tank is definitely a good add on if you plan to travel to remote places where fuel range is critical. The mosko moto reckless 40 was more than enough for a 25 days trip…it stayed excellently secured to the chassis and resting on the aux tank. The only issue I had was the side bags staying horizontal resting on the aux tank and not hanging further down as per the original design..making it difficult to load them without loosening the entire luggage. I now am using the Kriega US 10, 20 and 30 ltrs tail bags for my regular trips. The beauty of the mosko moto is the ability to compartmentalise the luggage and keep the center of gravity low and balanced. Happy motoring!
@@bigwheelsmotoring3642 Thanks for the feedback. If you were to undertake a long trip again, would you go with the Reckless 40 or make some Kriega gear work? I have a bunch of Kriega stuff, including various OS Systems that I use on other bikes. I'm thinking that I can probably find an OS System base that will fit the tank pretty well.
@@toridunn9586 - I would definitely use the Mosko Moto reckless 40 (If I am riding without the aux tank). If I am riding with the aux tank…I would prefer a straight forward Kriega US 40 tailbag or some other duffle type tail bag…because it becomes easy to carry it around..when you are parked.
IM ITALY ITS MY LOVE TRADE MADE MY COUNTRY
INDIAN LIKE MOTOR ITALY MADE?
Are you selling the original alloy wheels ? I need it bro
Just getting the 2023 TOYOTA HILUX GR SPORT AND I WANT TO PUT NITTO GRAPPLER 285 60 18 AT tires on the stock wheels will those have any issues?
Hello, how did you get the 20 litre side bags ? there suppose to be 14. are you using the reckless 80 dry bags that are 24l ?
Hey was keen on getting this set up, would be great to get info on where I can get them in India
Looks great. And thanks for the warning. I just recently purchased a hill 4x4 here in the Philippines. Ill be very careful about what wheel I put on it in the future
what aftermarket front visor is that?
Stupid camera
What is new negative offset ET and positive current offset ET?
Paisagem maravilhosa 👏👏
Sc is crap
What about 2 inch lift? Does it solve the issue?
Total Cost Of Setup?
Model? 🤔
Is it a practical buy for daily commute in cities like pune ? Does it heat much?
Awesome setup bhai!
Would a 2” suspension lift kit help to avoid touching of tyres to wheel well with a negative offset rim set?
Thats why you should go -10 17" 265/70 and there would be no scrubbing issues.
With or without lift? What about -12 17” 265/70?
Tyre width?
@@sandeeshpushella2938 still would be possible if you go with 265/70 and no lift kit. but recommended max is -10 offset. you could try using different size wheel spacers to try max offsets
Tire size 265/70r17 also will help if you do a Strut Spacer 1" or 2" @@sandeeshpushella2938
BFG tyres don’t disturb the suspension?? They say tyres are heavy
Hi ..How are the tyres performing ..want to understand more specific about their highway performance with respect to road noise , ride quality ?
They are pretty fine. Not much of road noise…even the ride quality is fine…you can always play with the tyre pressure if you find the ride quality hard…these tyres are preferred because of the stronger side wall…I think on a pick-up truck one should always have tyres with stronger side walls because you will use it at times with heavy cargo for eg. ferrying motorcycles, overlanding setups etc.
@bigwheelsmotoring3642 ok thanks for the revert.👍
The best one
It is available in India??
Thanks ,size of original vs size you suggested please
Thx so much cos i was thinking negative offset in my hilux, and this problem was confusing my mind
Hi thanks for the valuable tips and information, big help! By the way did you lift your Hilux? if yes how many inches?
No, I haven’t lifted it yet. Plan a 2” lift in future.
Where do you get your graphics kits?
That’s a cool video!! Keep it up!!
How's your journey in Ladakh sir Please share your experience and recorded video if any during ride in Ladakh.
How is the performance of Hilux ? is it worthful ?
Sir if you have two options between Ducati desert x and triumph scrambler 1200xe what you choose??
Desert X. I have not ridden a scrambler 1200xe…but I rode the same engine in the Speed Twin…for a short spin…I love the smooth refined feel…but for offroad I would prefer a more aggressive power delivery with ample low end torque.
