Rims look scary ashutosh, I totally understand why you want the whole bike in tip top condition. Praying for you. Maybe try to get the normal hypermotard rims or used rims if they are available outside because i cant fathom how expensive the original rims will be. Almost a new bike cost.

Ouch… Even the UK roads are bad in places and i always try and avoid potholes

One of our triumph scrambler 1200s with tubeless spoked wheels took a beating and had to go through a replacement ! Indian potholes have a mind of their own 😭.

Sorry to see this. Fortunate in unfortunate event is, it’s bent not cracked… keep your spirits high and rock the ride.. 👍🏼

I got a used hyperstrada recently - in bangalore. got 6k on it. looked at motard, but felt strada was better for touring. with center stand and larger screen etc. anyway, rim looks like it needs a change. you would know better after the trip.

Congrats on the hyperstrada, good choice. Yeah, I will change the rim (when I get it)…this trip will tell us a lot more about how everything pans out. 👍
