OMG i could watch you fish all day Brooke..!!!
These people have things I only dream of having like a boat an RV not to mention all the other things they have....wow!!! Even an excavator!!! While some people can barely afford to rent a meager room
Ah, there you are. I have missed your videos. Good to see you again. Have you guys thought about installing a grey water tank to collect the used water from the shower and washing machine to use for watering your fruit trees?
Should always draw from the lower tank first, then when you get rain, it doesn't take as long to overflow the high tank into the lower tank, also the tank that receives the water from your roof acts as a settling tank for the sediment, lower tank always has cleaner water.👍
Just a waning about drinking rainwater, about 15 years ago, my daughter was living up on the Sunshine Coast lived on a 10 acre block and regularly drank rainwater even thought it ran through 2 filters. She developed stomach ulcers from the bacteria built up in the tanks which put her in hospital for quite a while after vomiting blood from a burst ulcer. It almost killed her, My suggestion is, rainwater is fine for showering, washing machines and gardens, but if you have to drink it as your only means of water, boil it first. The water comes of the roof where birds poop and other insects die, anything can end up in those tanks, be careful.
Water the trees with dam water, tanks are for house use only.

hey there Brooky. Haven't seen you for ages. re:Rain it hasn't stopped here since 1st Dec 2023. 1400 MLS total
August!? That’s last year! Like 9 months ago. Did you just put this video up now.
Nice to see you back!!
I had the best yellow paw paws from Yeppoon even took some back with me. You get them from a trailer on the side of the road near main roundabout it is an honesty system. They were delicious and cheaper then the supermarkets. Red is also great tasting.🤠🤙👌
I haven't seen you and Dennis for ages, great to catch up, I just hope that your plants and water tanks get all the water they need, you two have so much talent and energy I've no doubt that you'll succeed in all your ventures, cheers my dears!!!🥰💕👍👍👍💪
Brook You and Dennis need to suss out at least old bath tubs and place them stepped down on a slope and Create a big worm farm the worm tea mixed with water I have been told will be a perfect good way to stop fruit bats eating your Pawpaw and other fruits !!! And it makes a liquid fertiliser for all other plants plus you get the benefit of having the best organic soil additive google worm farming Brooke !!! Seriously with your sloped property it would be a fantastic project to have
Great to see the homestead update! Your fruit trees, garden and water tanks must be doing super well with all the recent rain. How are your plans for your gorgeous Queenslander? Will you end up renovating this beauty with the impeccable views? Look forward to your next episode..
You asked for it last August I bet you are now saying please stop raining we are wet enough love your vlog keen to see you back fishing soon
That trommel would look good on the Gemfields. 😁
Your channel is just fine.
Good to see an farm update. 👍👍
Papaya is always improved with a good squeeze of lime or lemon, and a light sprinkle of sugar or drizzle of honey.
I bet all your tanks are overflowing now. We have had so much rain here in Hervey Bay and keep praying for it to stop. I think it’s been the wettest season on record. I heard on the news that the whole of Queensland was declared drought free. I know we will go back in to a drought again soon enough but we can enjoy some good growing season for now. 😊😊 Love your content.
Welcome back, Brooke.

Tyres leach toxins into your soil as they break down, not a good idea IMO. Just use Large Boulders instead.
May I suggest that you should have at least the foundation layer should have been filled with concrete yeah hehehe more concrete work to a) make the wall much more stable and to stop it becoming a home for unwanted vermin and especially snakes and mice rats You’ll also I think need a wacker packer vibrator packer to really pack soil into the tyre wall ,,, it’s a fantastic absolutely to use tyres as your retaining wall but as I suggested I’d be filling the tyres with concrete at least every other definitely every 2nd course/layer
Not sure if it’s already in the planning, but you might want to “pin” down the tyres to anchor them in place with something. Looks like you guys are having fun, definitely jealous.
Yess precisely that’s what I suggested as well but fill the tyres completely with concrete or maybe adobe mud and grass !!! Mix
Great video, poor choice of kids music when mature people are watching
What's the tyres for? = What IS the tyres for?. singular , one tyre. Correctly regarding singular/ plural. What 'RE the tyres for? What ARE . Plural, multiple tyres.
Just a heads up tires leach toxic shit into the earth, I definitely wouldn't be planting anything you are going to eat near them.
