You don't have to go far from the comfort of your caravan park to fossick for sapphires. We stayed at the Sapphire caravan and cabin part in Sapphire and we were surprised to find out there is a designated fossicking land down the back of the park. We did find some small sapphires there and it was not for a relaxing day of digging.
