The video is so well done, so interesting and the reading is excellent as usual. 10/10.
Thank you. This was wonderful.
Cool video
Jackie Kennedy was so bland. She had no taste for fashion.
I once made filet mignons Lili with pommes Anna. It was delicious! About $100.00 per serving.
She looked like Rupert Everett
The green curtains dress. I was going to have a friend make it for Halloween but I couldn't afford the 150 yards (or something ridiculous) amounts of fabric....even in felt, not velvet!!!!!! 😍😍😭
Dishonorable Jacqueline Kennedy IS the TRUE "Black Widow "
A class act for sure. And look where we are now. Most people dress like they are going to a pig fest. She would be shocked.
She is not beautiful at all, just tall and slim.
I like big bustles and I can not lie.... Yes I absolutely LOVE that era! Regency period is also a fav of mine.
She desperately needs a junk sale.
really good job
Thank you so much!!

Too much stuff. Cluttered rooms.
My favourite decades are 1800s and 1810s. I love the loose flowy dresses of the 1800s, the material allows them to drape so beautifully, it gives such a natural and relaxed feel, the slouched "I don't care" pose rules. In the 1810s, I like everything else - more structured curly hairstyles, outerwear and shoes, jewelry. The 1810s is also my favorite decade of menswear. Overall, 19th century is my favourite period of fashion, every decade is beautiful.
This was GREAT!!!! I thouroughly enjoyed this. Thank you for posting.
Of course!! Glad to hear it!
The one thing missing here in her bedroom are the flowers 🌸, for her being French is strange that she didn’t have any flowers at all ! The bedroom is beautiful, but without flowers is dead ! Just like Marie Antoinette her bedroom at the palace Versailles’ the flowers were the star and the canapés beautiful! ❤
You make an excellent point!!
She reminds me of Rosie Huntington Whitely, as far as being unattainable goes. That is an exclusive look. Whereas another one I like Jennifer Garner, appears much more attainable.
Question why where the chairs are they have mirrors ?
What a magnificent loss that was. There was an undeniable grace elegance to that era that is captivating. All eras have their positive and negative, but it seems we always sacrafice too many good things to achieve progress we need. Thank you for posting this video. I love the details!
I liked the green dressing gown as well. Well balanced between classy and elegant, and ornate. I always liked the blue and white in her scene with Ashley also. Such beautiful costumes, no expense spared!
So much "prettiness" in much of these fashions we certainly don't see today. Each era reflects in some way social norms for it's time, and that's always interested. For example, the ripped jeans style might be reflecting the current condemnation of wealthy people. Are the jeans that look like they're overdue for the rag bag saying don't judge me as bad, I don't have money? 🤔 And has femeninity become synonymous with weakness? And does fashion exploiting sexuality convey some type of female strength? I don't know, but I've always thought it would be an interesting area of research (and men's fashion as well.) Anyway, I love your channel. It provides a fresh angle on the topics. Thank you! 😊
How did these survive the French Revolution?
1899😍😍😍
I’m not someone who is typically taken with fabrics from that age due to the extravagance just is a bit much for me but that was absolutely beautiful, all the fabrics and the furniture was beyond incredible. What a lovely and spellbinding and made . Super ch elegance and timeless beauty . I can’t even imagine the amount of money back then this cost , must have been staggering
Omgggg these sleeves are not it, I’m sorry just my opinion 🙈
She was totally fake! A mannequin could have done her job! She went where the money was and scooped it up.
Hi, awesome live history video I enjoyed it. Have a great day 😊
Thank you so much!! You too!!
I can't tell you how much I needed this tonight. In an ugly, frustrating world I'm able to settle into bed and be pampered with spellbinding beauty. Thank you 💜 C'est Magnifique
I am so so glad to hear it! Your comment brings such happiness to me!! 🙏💜

I remember reading many years ago that The Kings Room was bitterly cold in winter and the King would actually sleep in an adjacent small room with a fireplace. He would move in there after the coucher and before the levee and only his attendants knew about this. It felt factual and plausible at the time. Can anyone confirm or deny?
Wow, what a beautiful informative video! The narration is excellent. Love the details of the architecture plans and the beautiful pictures. Such an interesting time in history for sure. Bravo !!!!
Thank you for your kind comment!! So glad you love the video!
I loved her street style the most, I don’t participate in events that required her to dress more elegantly.
Favorite room? Definitely the library of Louis XVI. Excellent and informative video.
Excellent choice! And thank you Louis! I always appreciate reading your comments!
Another amazing video!!! Thank you 😊
Of course!! So glad you liked it!!😊

I'd like to try Malibu Night because I love coconut scents. Patchouli - not so much.

Dunno why some of the Kennedy men bothered getting married , they couldn’t keep it in their underwear !
that apartment is hideously designed.
