Many persons were not obsessed with her! She married a US Senator ( he later became a US President). The marriage to Ari Onassis was about money !Jacqueline was a world famous person due to being a widow of a US President! She then married a Greek Oil Shipping Person. I mean not many people have that level of fame!

Christina was the original super yacht when class and money ruled the waves. Makes all those plastic floating flats look cheap. I saw a video years ago of her rotting in some docks. It is truly amazing to see her restored in all her splendour. Ari would be so happy.

Good for Mr. Onassis! Goes to show that hard work often pays off.

She makes it look like owners build it on their own, by hand.

That is a Huge Yacht. I am glad it was saved to celebrate its' 80 year Heritage.

We must remember that Onassis' daughter abandoned this yacht, and a friend or fan of Onassis bought it and did this renovation, and now it is rented for 700k per week, as a fan of Onassis, I admire what he did and this yacht should remain alive forever.

I was lucky to have a guided tour of this ship by the captain when docked at Chatham docks in 20012, it was timeless

I met Christina in 1985 she was very nice to me a young man at the time and we had some delightful conversations and I heard some funny stories from on that boat which she actually missed. Nice lady I was sad when she died. Actually sad she married Thierry but she loved him.

I saw The Christina off Bridgetown, Barbados at Christmas 1976. I was sailing onboard the M.V.Amalric as a J.R and we spent a week there over Christmas; the Christina was anchored offshore and we could see her lit up at night looking like a mini cruise ship.

Help's a good deal if you have enough money to spend without a second thought. Aristotle Onassis had that much money he could throw $1,000 bill's into the Medetrainan every minute.

Basically, Onassis yatch had served more like a real economy on its own ie, housekeeping, maintenance, chefs, bar, etc, etc...Wow! No wonder Jackie O chooses this man of super wealthy...

That yacht was far superior to the HoneyFitz, but it probably didnt have a family atmosphere like the HF.

You reek of bitterness and jealousy. For thousands of years there have always been people who have had immense wealth and privilege and those that have descending levels of financial status down to your people. Your life will be much happier if you accept your position in life and acknowledge that you will never be one of the 1%. Make the most of being ordinary and go forth and spread your special love and joy to the rest of humanity. Do you think you might have an inflated sense of entitlement that was never fulfilled to the level you feel appropriate. I am not one of the 1% and I certainly don't begrudge people with more wealth who can enjoy the luxuries of life.
