Didn't they change the laws in Washington and now you can't do that there anymore?
Yeah, the rules change a lot. I believe an HPA is required at this location now.
Took about a month to get my permit. It was not to bad. The departments have people you can call for help and they are great. No fee which is good. Its the pump that requires the permit.
@@michaelspring3915 thatnk you. That will help alot. 😎
Hey man, where do you get those bucket haulers? That thing is sweet, that black sand is heavy as hell man
That's our buddy Jesse. Can't recall where he got it but I believe it was spendy 😀
If that silver stuff is hard it could be platinum.. I found a platinum nugget with my metal detector in Canyon City, Ore. It was worth $5000 at the time.
I sure enjoyed the Cape when we could use our machines on the beach
How do you do a cleanup when it’s stapled. You should’ve silicone it in and then you could’ve took the level and tip it upside down in a tub to clean it out, very simple
Which mat would you recommend for beach gold and fine gold in general?
Was this in Wisconsin or Michigan
Washington state
Are there people out there all year round doing this? I don't have fine gold setup but would be fun talking to someone doing it while passing by...
Yeah, over night, they'll bann prospecting all together if we don't bury the holes.
I would like to get one to test it out. If you could get back to me I sure would appreciate it.
Hey Mark! Unfortunately I don't carry dream mat anymore. Best way to get the mat would be to reach out to David Peterson on Facebook. Hope this helps
Didn't see any foaming from Jetdry. Wondering if you used any. Also, it seemed like you may have been running that mat a bit too aggressively. Unlike the Dream mat, that mat doesn't seem to need the water power to drop it into the swirl. Also, running the Dream mat prior to the other mat, didn't seem like a fair test of the mat itself. Just my opinion.
Nice seeing that shinny before it settles down inside the gold cube.Give you an idea quicker where the gold is coming from when sampling areas.

1.23 grams, good video, have you tried dream mat? you would get more cons but a quick clean out may offset the extra cons, not sure as we don't have black sand in Australia but we do have flour gold

Hey Kevin, only 12 buckets, what happened, you guys get lazy :) Since this was before the storms started to hit hard I'll guess only .35 grams. We were down just a few weeks before this and did poorly. Heading back down on the 20th for a few days, hoping to do much better!
I'm getting old man 😂 yeah I wasn't happy with the results but cant always strike it rich
Finally got around to cleaning the cons from last month. Pay layer was still deep, about 3-4 feet. Like you, I'm getting old and lazy, so I only ran 12 buckets with the small power sluice and came away with .76 grams. Hope to head back down next week, weather is supposed to be good!

After you run a bunch of that you got to clean up all of your equipment because of the saltwater... Any suggestions I tried the product called salt away...
To be honest I've been lazy with that. I just rinse it with the hose and store it away. Seems to hold up just fine
I dig your clean up sluice it's nice
