Are there people out there all year round doing this? I don't have fine gold setup but would be fun talking to someone doing it while passing by...

Sluice Goose is the man! To be honest, I haven't had the time to process all the cons =) Might just keep the black sand for demonstrating on the martin and royal tables. Thanks for watching

Didn't they change the laws in Washington and now you can't do that there anymore?

Yeah, the rules change a lot. I believe an HPA is required at this location now.

Took about a month to get my permit. It was not to bad. The departments have people you can call for help and they are great. No fee which is good. Its the pump that requires the permit.
