Is 12oz (355ml) of Liqui Moly power steering stop leak enough for Audi Q7 2012?
Is 35Ml of Liqui Moly Power Steering Oil Leak Stop enough for Audi Q7 2012?
What’s interesting is that after taking out the oil with the flush chemicals, what’s left is minuscule. 10% of the oil and this 10% of the chemical. And being hydrocarbons and alcohols, they actually have a low flash point and will boil off completely from the new oil in a matter of hours. So I doubt the low concentration remaining and then evaporating will cause any damage to the engine. And manufacturers of flush chemicals would say that it must be flushed again if this wasn’t the case 🤷♂️
New oil become dark because additives inside burn.. in old oilzwas not so much addictive..
Great video. Thank you much!
Can you do the same procedure without the additive or is the additives necessary? If you follow the procedure with the additive, do you have to do it twice to remove all the residue from the additive?
You do not have to do it twice, that is only if the engine is sludged up really bad.
awesome video. thanks for doing this! You save me $$$
Glad I could help!
Bugs stuck on front of 2019 camry se for a week. Rinsed off front section and windshield of car, washed with Dawn detergent and microfiber chenille mitt and it took bugs off with a little soft fingernail scrub here and there. No need for all these chemicals unless you have road tar to deal with.
Soaking the bugs down makes a huge difference.
Big Honda mistake!!
Oil will get really dark after driving for a long time. I have an idea if you are just cleaning the cylinder head part: 1. Remove the top cover and brush off dirt. Drain oil and use and AC compressor to move dirt down. 2. Remove the oil drain pan for cleaning. I think it is wasteful to overspend on Liqui moly when you can just remove the oil drain pan for cleaning. A lot of the sludge exists there. Not on the engine itself. This is the reason I no longer buy any Liqui Moly flush. An engine oil flush solution only costs about 250 PHP here. You should only use fully synthetic oils even for cleaning.
how often should we flush the motor oil?
Thanks man! Really informative video!
You’re a godsend for this. Will make sure to order with your affiliate links! 🫡
im confused
There seems to be missing the filtrational element!
what about isopropyl alcohol?
That would be interesting to try!
I’m sorry dude. You lost me at the 20 000 miles oil change. It doesn’t matter what the lab says, if you care about your car, you stop at at most 10 000
Awesome Video
The best engine cleaner is to change your oil every 6 months or 5000 miles.
I just watched your video and didn’t have the inflatable wedges, and I was stuck at how to remove the agitator. I asked my 15 year-old son what he thought. After using the terminology in your video and showing him parts of the video as to how the part worked, he came up with the idea of using some type of string. Thank you so much for your video. It helped educate myself and my son and we found it alternative way to pop the agitator right off. My 15-year-old had a slide flat rope under opposite sides and then put pressure from opposite sides and it popped right off. We would not have known the mechanical force issue behind removing it had it not been for your video..
Awesome work, glad you were able to fix the washer with the help of your son! This is what KZread is all about out!
How ofen do put flushing oil.
Only when needed, this is the 1st time for an engine with almost 180k miles.
The best engine cleaner is 50% diesel with 50% fresh oil for 10 minutes at idle.
Question can I just put the liquid Molly sludge remover with out doing 3 oil changes can I just put it in and then drive 124 miles then get a oil change ?
The 3 oil changes are not required, that was just to show the affect of the flush on clean oil. Just put the flush in your old oil and drive.
Is that honey💀🐝
Forbidden honey! 😂
It's not about volume or speed of oil drain. It's that when the oil is hot, the contaminants are flowing around with the oil, and drain out with the oil. When you drain it cold all the contaminants, metal, dirt, other garbage sits on the sump floor and the oil drains out over the top of it. Put your clean oil in and soon as it heats up all that garbage is flowing through your clean oil again
I just empty oil out,put drain plug back in pour a gallon of diesel fuel into engine run it for about 2 minutes, then drain out again start it up for a few seconds. Then put plug back in sump change oil filter re full with new oil
Top notch review, short and to the point. Thanks!
To keep hands clean and not ruin good shop gloves with oil and dirt.
20,000miles on easy use 10,000miles on heavy use
My question was never about speed, but rather the difference in volume of oil between a hot & old drain. My theory was a cold drain would yield more oil since all oil had time to drain into the sump from all parts of the engine. But since a hot drain yielded even more oil - and took less time - the theory is blown. Happy to be proven wrong on this. Thanks!!
No one buy from Simpson. These guys will scam you. “Simpson” I’m a customer for 6 years now. I hope you guys get sue to bankruptcy.
Great video of Static Pressure and running pressure, a drop from the Highest pressure when the trigger is released to the steady run pressure when using the pressure washer. We also refer to this "Static Pressure" as "Burst Pressure" , the first burst of pressure that occurs when you pull the trigger before the running pressure starts. Also, the size of the nozzle orifice will affect the running pressure. A larger 4.5-inch Nozzle will reduce the running pressure but allow more water to come through it.
I Did the oil change on my 2016 Honda pilot did what the guy from autozone told me buy 6 quarts of oil but I put all the 6 quarts of the oil I don’t think it’s bad for the engine since it has high mileage and we run the truck a lot or I messed up by putting all the 6 quarts ?
Do you do the flush on the old or new filter? I heard its worth placinf a new one and then do the flush. What”s your exp?
Everything you did was right, you are close to perfection but you should remove the crankcase or sump at the bottom after draining the old oil with liquid moli , to assist the secondary cleansing with the cheaper oil before you go for the final oil
What about putting the winners on there and then pressure washing to see which works best without agitation?
thank you
Adam's Bug Remover 🎤 ⬇️
Did you blow up everyone’s stock of turtle wax power foam or did they discontinue it?
Is it safe for engine?
Exelente producto!! Eh usado el de elevar octanaje y el otro para la aceleración ✌️👏👏👏
Waste of oil, test run wrong, incorrect parameters and results were and are inconclusive.
80 psi sheesh
He did all these oil changes back to back to back or he actually put miles on the oil ?
2400 PSI ouch! lets not oversimplify just use Citrol!
Just came here to see all the funnel comments
I really enjoy this video 📹.
I believe the oil get dark because of the 100km drive.... That is just my take on it
