I am sad to not wake up to a welcome home video! I know we won't be getting them every day any more, but will we get a recap of your returning home soon?

I am just glad that MB finally realized after 700 miles that her husband and children should mean more to her than fulfilling a selfish adventure. A Godly Wife and Mother should always put her family before herself. Looks like the Lord might have helped MB to grow in spiritual maturity. Thank you Lord for showing her that her purpose in life is to be with her family.

That’s pretty harsh judgement. I don’t feel MB deserves that. I cheer her on for following her heart and her beliefs.

You have hiked more miles and spent more nights on trail than 99.9% of the people you will meet. And filmed it well. Good job. 🥾

What a wonderful way to end your adventure! No serious issues while on the AT, and many fantastic lifetime memories to enjoy. I am very happy for both of you. I never count my miles, only my smiles as it is the smiles that count. If you are not having fun, why are you doing it. God bless you and your family.

I imagine it has to be frustrating to stop something for the best for you and your family and have multiple strangers wanting you to continue so they can watch.

Thanks for sharing your day in Savannah! Did you get to go to Paula Deen’s restaurant? We went to Savannah years and years ago and took the Paula Deen tour. We went to all the places she went to while filming her show and went to her brother’s restaurant to eat lunch while on the tour. It was when she was still filming her show. Loved the video!

Homeward bound!!!! You both look refreshed! You’re both glowing, so, I would say this is your answer to the prayers! Although I knew you two could make Katahdin, I also felt a sense of peace for you when you would get to a hostel, or hotel. I don’t know why but I was thrilled to hear your news!

My husband and I went to college at SCAD back in the early aughts. One of my classmates digitally mapped the inside of that cathedral. A suggestion - I'd love to see you guys do Rim to Rim at the Grand Canyon. We are doing that adventure later this summer, and I've binged watched just about all the channels that have done it. Looks like a fun challenge. What say you?

I am so glad you two made a decision to do what was best for you both. Sometimes the grind of the trail can get tedious. You can be proud of your accomplishments on trail and remember the joys. Maybe another time your family can join you for day hikes or a section hike of areas that you loved. Looking forward to new content on adventures you haven't dreamed of yet.

You and your daughter had a grand adventure and you should be very proud of your accomplishment. Little Bear will remember this special time with her Mom forever. With everything going on in the world today it was so refreshing seeing the love and respect you and your daughter shared, but, especially the faith you showed in the Lord. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of it all.

Savannah is such a cute town to visit. So much history & the food is so good! I will miss seeing your daily AT videos but am so proud of both of you for doing what is best for yourselves & your family ❤️ nothing more important. I’m considering the AT next year with my brother but being away from family that long is one of the mental challenges I’m still pondering on. If you are ever in NC or think about doing the Foothills trail again, send me a message. I’m considering doing that trail in the fall. Look forward to watching your future adventures! ✌️😊

Will very much miss you on the trail! Your videos are some of the best of all the thru hikers I’ve watched, very comfortable, nice camaraderie with each other, as well as covering so much of the day to day details of the journey. Extremely enjoyable! Thank you for giving some transitional videos to help all of us viewers. Wishing you the best 😊

Life is short and none of us have the promise of tomorrow. Y’all have made the choice that makes YOU the happiest…and that is all that matters 💜 As much as I will miss seeing y’all on the AT, I totally understand you wanting to be with family! I know I wouldn’t want to be away from my husband that long…we’ve been married almost 35 years and I think the longest we’ve ever been apart is 3 weeks. We thru hiked the Foothills trail in May….hoping to do it again this fall before backpacking down in the Grand Canyon. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming adventures 💜

What a fun visit in Savannah. It's been so long since I've seen it, and I felt like I was there. I absolutely loved the trolley ride and looking at all the old fixed up houses from large to small. I picked out a couple of small ones I would love to move to if there were just a mountain under them. :-)
