What fixed it? Seeing taking out fuse 57 and disconnecting the battery for 10 seconds helps a lot of people, but not sure if it will help this specific issue
BMW sucks horribly. They are for pretentious assholes to cut you off in traffic.
i don't understand how you make it look so so easy thanks!
Experience i guess😁 but i recommend to just take your time and do everything step by step😉
Just got a smoke machine best thing ever
Im sooo glad i dont work on that crap anymore dang i always said BMW is a disgrace to German ingenuity
Can speed sensors cause the electrical components to have issue's
Highly doubt it
Im in the process of replacing my starter...i reset the cpu cleared codes on the car...my car did not want to start...24 hrs later i tried one more time to start it, to .move it sp i can work on the starter...is this possible...?.can it be something else?

That will not cause a misfire. EVAP vode, but not a misfire. Source: master mechanic.
It causes lean running conditions which eventually leads to occasional misfire and this air leak has nothing to do with evap system
I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the fantastic tutorial video. The clarity and thoroughness with which each step is demonstrated are truly commendable. A special thanks goes to the mechanic who skillfully shows and explains every detail. Your expertise and clear instructions have made a significant difference in my understanding and ability to follow along. Thank you for taking the time to create this valuable resource. Your efforts are greatly appreciated! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Happy to help🙌
Oh damn you are like the human OBD scanner for BMW nothing escape you 😂
Diagnostic is a big part of any repair😁👨🔧
@@Zeiten any advice on why my 2007 bmw 750li is burning oil and why the a.c. only blows hot air freon is good too thanks bro for your time always
I think it’s much easier just to drop the entire subframe out-of-the-way!! Especially doing it on your back
Safety reasons🤷♂️
So where do you get the perfect fitting screws 😂
From thermostat housing
@@Zeiten dude thank you. You’re a life saver, 🛟 about to do my water pump rn
@steelokey happy to help🙌
Thanks heaps for this video bro, just did mine today... PSA dont forget to plug ya PCV hose back in XD, car was idling rough asf until i realised what i did ahaha
Happy to help👍
Shaitan mashina
Magic😁
Thanks for the insight
Why would mine not be doing it?
Ok yea 2XL is the biggest 😩🤣😂
Weren't the Vanos bolts a problem on this engine? BMWNA has a new recall on them
They were but this is not the head of broken vanos bolt, i really don’t want to remove valve cover just for that but i guess i’ll have to😂
I'm done dealing with the rip off mechanics, bmw dealership is the worst!. This video is on point!. I appreciate you. Thanks!
Another great video. How much would this cost? Greetings rom The Old Jarhead in WNC
Thank you, i charge as of today 1250$ parts and labor total, dealer charges up to 3k so it varies a lot depending on location and who performs the job
Yo Zeiten love the channel, I needed to replace the radiator in my e92 so I did and then filled the coolant back up and I actually found out my thermostat isn’t working because my car was still overheating and after ordering parts I drained my radiator and every little came out. All the coolant is everywhere else and I put in at least two gallons before. I don’t know how to drain the coolant how would I do this. You’re the best bmw mechanic!
The whole system holds about 3 gallons of coolant, once you start disconnecting hoses more will come out I’d recommend replacing water pump at the same time as thermostat since they have about the same life span and located next to each other
It should be oil pan and gearbox oil replace it with be fine 🎉 and if not please close the door sir
Thanks for this video. The same i do for my m57 engine and everithing work perfect💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Tim your a BMW Ninja 🥷 amazing content and excellent instructor 👏👏👏👏
Thank you appreciate it🙌
Hi Tim, watching your video regularly since a little while now, not only you are very calm & precise in your explanation, but also very fit & courageous to work alone... Could you please share more information regarding the extensions and socket that are loose. I am from Europe (France), I'd like to get some where can I order them from?
Thank you appreciate it, those are called wobble socket extension can’t say where to get those in Europe but here we have those in harbor freight tools
Hi
Za długa linka zamka...przerobić na 2 uch2yt i skrócić zatrzask..
Only a bmw would run a drive axle through the oil pan that requires you to remove all that sh1t to change a gasket . I hate those cars owned several of them garbage 🗑️ money pit 👎
We get what we get and we don’t get upset🤷♂️😁
Another amazing master BMW video Tim hope all is well and life is treating you amazing which you deserve 👊🏽!
@BMW750MG thank you appreciate it🙌 yes all good more videos coming soon😉
@@Zeiten brother I wanna support and get a shirt as well but I don't know if they run True to size unless you have 3XL lol😅 I got a big back 🤣
@@BMW750MG i think the biggest one is 2xl😁
Well done. Your experience is on display compared to all the DIYs I've seen on this subject
Thank you🙌
I appreciate your work, Nice DIY video man thanks
🙌
I have a 2009 328. X drive. Would it be a similar process for the x drive? Thank you, appreciate your videos 😊
No, xdrive is much more difficult. I’ll get to make a video on this repair one day
@@Zeiten thank you, mine is a manual transmission as well, not sure if that make a difference with replacing the oil pan gasket.
@danantrosiglio1414 manual is a bit easier compared to autotrans, but since you have awd it’s different. You have front differential attached to oil pan with axles and front driveshaft. I have a way of simplifying this repair will shoot a video in the near future
@@Zeiten thank you, I appreciate all your videos. I changed valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, brakes/rotors and starter. I am a bit hesitant to tackle my oil pan leak. Dealer quoted 3K which seems crazy.
@danantrosiglio1414 how bad is the leak?
You know when u open up the hood e92 and where the hood latch goes. i lost a bolt down there do u know how i can get it out
Hard to say, magnet is your best friend in that situation
@@Zeiten i think i have to take off bumper
@@Zeiten51:12 I drained my n54 that takes 6,5L. i filled 5,9l, it was a tiny bit below the max line. when i filled 6l it was perfect. I think its 6,5L if the engine is bone dry?
@@Zeitenalso we know the oil cooler stores some oil, N54 with oil cooler and n54 without oil cooler is still 6,5l.
@cosmos2382 engine capacity is 6.9 qrts which equals 6.5 liters
Thanks for sharing your knowledge...❤
Happy to help🙌
What about torque specs/sequence for the valve cover?
When you buy elring valve cover you’ll find all of those instructions inside
Can’t wait to have to do that one
I have a very clean 2008 750Li it needs valve seals how much will you charge me to change them. Please inbox me
The link you put on Ebay is missing!
Got lucky there
How much did it cost you to get the new valve cover
S55 valve cover?
Correct👍
And can you please send me a link on where you bought yours, thank you!
How much does replacing that piece cost?
Can this broken bolt cause leaks just below this bolt, where the head gasket meets the oil cooling gasket? My bolt is snapped as well. I just replaced my oil filter cap (old ole completely disintegrated inside) also the two gaskets on the cooler and on the engine block. Degreased everything. But now I'm still seeking a minor leak, which seems to come from the head gasket, not from any of the OFH gaskets. I have an endoscope camera and I'm almost certain that the new oil filter housing gaskets are not leaking.
Yes it can
@@Zeiten thanks for the quick reply mate! I'll soon service the whole cylinder head and I'll tackle this issue as well.

Wow supercharger
Me having no idea what’s going on 🧐 😂
Hi I have off topic question what is the proper change interval for serpentine belt in B48 engine? How many years/km?
I’d say condition based, just inspect it once in a while usually belts can easily last for 80-100k miles so if you want to do preventative maintenance just stick to those intervals but if you change the belt change the tensioner as well every time
@@Zeiten Thank you very much.I have BMW 3GT 320i with B48 engine. It is 2018 Year but very low mileage about 29tkm.I have checked the belt looks good and also tensioner w/o any noises
Depending on your location you probably have lots of time before you can start worrying about those things. Just open the hood once in a while a take a look
@@Zeiten Thank you and have a nice day
Thank you for the informative video! Unfortunately I stripped one of the two bolt holes that hold the pump in place. Now, the screw doesn't catch anything when I tighten it. It appears the part that the screws thread into can be removed. Do you know what the name and part number for that piece is?
