My humble attempt at building my version of the digital world one step at a time by creating programming and computer science content to help those coming behind me.
I've tracked my coding journey since 2016 by documenting my experiences as a (now-former) computer science student & (now-former) software engineer, all in an attempt to help others coming behind me. I believe there's a lot of value in seeing how someone else has done something, so I try to teach everything I learn in this programming and computer science space as I learn it. Now, I do KZread full-time and am able to focus on hobby projects. Really, I'm just here to have fun with code lol. Enjoy!

Making more money doing something that I enjoy?! That's great to hear! Time to start 'not being productive and watching KZread shorts' company, can't wait for the $$$!
Love it
85k/year?! Oh no! /s
when i was at college, my course were about game development, some times we had some speeches from other organizations that count for our "complementary activities" required for the graduation, they were optional but an good way to kill time from "complementary activities" since they count more time than they really lasted... one of those speeches, was from an company called "seven games" an course that also teach how to make games, students from there were trying to promote the course, most likely to get some discounts as payment for those speaches. their presentations was like an ad for autodesk products, probably they had an partnership with their course or something like that... not only it sounded like an ad but they trash talked the "free competition" without quoting any names. "unlike free alternatives, this software can do X, and Y", nowadays i saw what they were trying to do, iwas just an FUD campaing, so yeah microsoft is not the only company who use FUD against their competition.
Very informative! Thanks for literally spilling most of the important stuff in 20 minutes ^^
How could you make a video about Vim in 2023 and not even mention Neovim?
I’m a graphic designer but thinking about teaching myself to become a programmer. Would you recommend doing so? My knowledge of coding is 0.
The worst part of this video was the near reactivation of my addiction to 2048
Thx you. This is very helpful
I wrote a python code that scraps entire website using selenium. If there is a captcha, it waits for a manual intervention. It save the page content in txt file and then i feed all these txts to LLMs to create embeddings.
9:07 Of course the Arch user has to brag about using Arch.
Is this guy Jesus or what😂😂😂 Your channel should be called Jesus' Code 😂❤
Being consistent is really tough, especially when you're prepping for interviews. It's not just about putting hours in normal leetcode practice- you gotta dive into contests headfirst! Yeah, it's tough at the start, but trust me, it gets smoother. I use the CodingDude Chrome extension for tracking contests on various sites.
I love videos talking about the old days. Thank you for making this!
You are my Jesus. Amen 🙏
No no bro 😅
If there are no jobs you have to create your own, you might even have to do some in kind transactions
James... shhhhh...! ... Shhhh.
I want to be software engineering in 2024
Open source is a fascinating study, especially with it's different licensing requirements. I wonder how IBM & Canonical will affect the open source code of their respective distros. Will RHEL and Ubuntu Pro go down the same path as Android? Perhaps the evolution of proprietary and open source code will eventually intertwine to the point where it can no longer be distinguished from each other - then what will be the result of the evolution? I doubt AI will provide the crystal ball we need to look into the future.
I, ve been talk you i don't want to be a pfogrammeer
Would recommend to have a look at Mizu icon pack, with the andromeda theme it looks amazing
Already half way through my computer science degree and I hate to admit it, but I'm one of the people whop doesn't do much coding outside of school(I work full time along with taking classes so I dont have much time), but that changes right now. I'm gonna start trying to do at least some bit of a coding a week. Even if its just one small part of a bigger project at least its something.
Came here looking for an answer maybe, the thing is, in VS Code, whenever i save (or auto save), on HTML, long lines break the texts adding a long whitespace (looks like 4 tabs) and a single word goes into another line, when theres enough space for not doing that. Any ideas? THANKS!
You are like jesus of software engineers. With mustache... by the way thanks alot i think this experiences is the best thing at this career because its like the treasure and its so important ❤❤❤
Is keeping just a mustache related with being good in programming?
jesus
me who feels I can learn and conquer every corner of this modern software realm. realizing programming is not a hobby or job or something you just do for the sake of doing it programming is much more than that. is a way you express yourself way to embrace and unleash your creativity and knowledge for others to use this field made me know my purpose and helped me a lot to surpass tough times in my life. makes me realize everything within my reach and I am ready to dedicate my life to fulfilling this purpose. i hope you all guys found your ultimate motivation to achieve your desires.
Sure.
Jesus, the commercials are half the videos at this point.
Thank you so much for this informative video. You explained so well and I am no longer confused.
GNU/SYS-D/LINUX might be the most accurate in all honesty.
Great video! Shame it's full of React code 😅

Forestknight, I am too much afraid from the Upcoming Ai and literally always thinking that they can replace us....... Overthinking too much about that.....because I am starting my cs degree after 2 months and I am too much afraid about the AI 😢😢 .....reply about it sir 😫
Sir, you've bombed me away with more ideas and inspiration than I can process through a couple clicks of your content. You've also very kindly made sure that I do my research by assigning plenty of homework with those learning resources. Whether to laugh or cry, I will decide after I attempt tackling the workload. But at the very least, you've rightfully claimed my subscription rights to your channel.
I am very familiar with this stuff and have messed with a lot of 'DevOps' stuff. I've even worked for a short time as a DevOps person .. Depsite being paid a little better, this is nowhere near as fun (rewarding/satisfying) as being a more traditional developer. I want to be a developer who can fix and configure CI pipelines and other platform stuff when needed, but is mostly concerned with programming good code.
Great video - Thanks!
I would kill for a job offer at $80k, some people might view that as lower compensation but as a student only just starting out I would absolutely be over the moon at an offer like that
In this field you either have all the money or none of it. 😂
I'm a scientist and engineer. My fields of interest are chemical engineering, materials science, electrochemistry, and molecular physics. My training is strictly experimental, but I think I have to learn more about theory and simulation. I think I ought to learn to code and build AI/ML/DL models so I can make better simulations to inform my experimental work, which I believe will then allow me to make better models. Manus manum lavat.
Hello sir. Sir I am not good at maths so can I learn and practice dsa and actually become good at it??
Jesus 2.0
Don't really a good advice, another techfluencer trying to get money from sponsors. You're not a reference to follow, your code and problem solving skills sucks.
Bro, school is not as bad as you are describing. You work on problems in school too. I always recommend students make their own side projects too, especially at the beginning of the semester when things are slower
can you drop the links fro the eq your using rightb now mic etc etc??
You know a programmer has become Elite when they shave and only remain with a moustache
Yeah I wanted to. Then I went to uni.
Same lmaoo
I'm not sure I necessarily want to be a programmer, but I do want to be able to program and understand these technologies better for my own curiosity. If there ends up being money in that somehow, that's cool too.
we can do this dont give up
happily/sadly I've already been a programmer for 20 years. If you don't love coding, don't do it it will be hard
