Trying to figure out the best ISO for my Z5. I currently have mine set to 6,400 but think that may be too high. I set shutter to 1/50. I see here your shutter speed is set to Auto. Wouldn't the Z5 then use a higher ISO than really needed so your shutter speed is higher for less shake or not?
Any ideas on whether this would work good on Nikon d5600?

Ralph why when I focus on the Z5 do I get a green dot in the middle of the focus box and sometimes I don't? I'm in AF-S and Wide area (small).

Well I’ve not used the z6iii but the z8 is the best camera I’ve ever used.

I’ve not had any issues or experienced any limitations.
Viltrox now makes an FTZ adapter, and it works really well. It sells for less than USD$100.00. I have one and it works well.

We're using a bluetooth to FM transmitter powered by the 12V socket. It has a USB slot on it, will it be enough to power it? Or it has to be the one that came with the package?

I don’t think it would, unless you bought an extender or maybe a longer cable, but then you’d need to plug it in 🤔
Why is your video having a few seconds just a green screen while you talk ? Min 6:26 for example. Anyway great comparison

After 4 weeks of no Z9 lock up (had previous lock ups), today July 6, 2024, the Pro Sports Z9 locked up on me during eventing, missed several money shots. Had to pull the battery. ref: Z9, firm 5.00, Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S updated firm 1.22, Nikon battery ~40 remaining charge, SanDisk 512GB Extreme PRO CFexpress Card Type B (in the past also locked up with Delkin Black), 20 fps. Any recent other user with the Z9 lock up issue? (I know, as per PVA, it's the user's fault!... but what is the user doing wrong?) and yes at time the EV gets +1 for no reason. The eye piece is an easy fix. Gives you a feeling of customization and ownership <g>
When you say ‘lock up’ what happens to the camera? It just freezes??

If you need a small flash for fill-in or party shots I highly recommend the Nikon SB400; it's old but its TTL system is fully compatible with the Z5 plus you can use the manual overide option in camera.

I do play golf, but which aspect of it are you thinking? My initial instinct is for tee off you would just use a stationary camera would you?

Nikon d3500 has secret I search about it but not find to be better than any camera I used before .. do you pas like that before old camera comes better than new one?
Just because a camera is new. Doesn’t mean it’s better than an older one that works for you 👍
How would you compare these with Polar helix which are magnetic with a quarter twist to secure?
I wish I could tell you but I’ve not used the Polar Helix. Keen if someone wants to send me one though.

For Astro only… I’d definitely go cheaper camera expensive lens.
