I Love your reactions - so charming and authentic. I am Bavarian, my Mum is from Munich, but but to be quite honest my root are 75% Prussian ( Prusians still being sort of AntiChristAncestry in Bavaria!) - was babtized Lutheran Protestant (Bavaria is mostly Catholic) and I quit being "anything religiously" with 25 and think as an karma astrologer with a the the heart feeling of an Avalon Priestess (in this life) that everyone should just trust his heart and individual life plan. Don't worry, I'm Australian and this beautiful song by Peter Allen originally puts a tear in my eye as well. The song is so good and highly adaptable, I'm surprised someone in another country hasn't changed the country name and put their own twist on the song, and covered it. It would be a hit I'm sure.

I really noticed a downfall of the music after 2014. 2018 for example was so terrible, I liked the 9th place (I sadly liked the most from this year's list) less than the 9th place from 2012 (I'm absolutely surprised that a very solid song is the weakest of the year from this list). 2019 at least saved the second half. It was for me the best year since 2015. "Die Toten Hosen" should come back to the Mainstream! Or "Rammstein" (despite their scandals), "Die Ärzte", "Cro" "SIDO", "Mark Forster" or "Adel Tawil". That were great times.

Stella. As an Austrian who loves cooking and good meals there is an unwritten rule for cooking with wine. Use always the wine to cook which you drink to the meal later. And please don´t use cooking wine, a good cheap bottled wine is good for gravies or you can use a strong pork- or beef soup instead of the wine.

He also was a strong zigarette smoker. In every interview you can see him smoking, because that was one of his demandings. No smoking? No interview. And he probably was the best chancellor, we've ever had in our history

Hallo, I‘m german and 50 years ago I went to Geschwister Scholl Grundschule. Sophie,22, and her brother Hans ,25, were peacefully german partisans against hitler. They published pamphlet against the nazis and were murdered by the nazis after their detection. And there are hundreds of school or places similar named in germany until now and this is a good thing.
