Hi Starr Reacts! Ive seen just two streetfoods how its meant, Brezeln and Bratwurst. You can get this everywhere throughout germany, but in my opinion the Thuringian original Bratwurst is the best. But ok, im rised up in the east. 😅 Everything else was special offers at christmas markets, rly hearty things! The offers are very very different in the federal states of germany. I believe you would love nearly all of them! ty and a big smile back to you from Hannover, Stuttgart and Erfurt

The one from the first clip is actually a Swiss dish close to raclette. It is a special, very spicy Swiss cheese that is melted on the surface by means of heat and then scraped. The sausage is one of around 300 different types of sausage, but very far from the hot dog. It is a grilled sausage. The pancake is a French specialty crêpes, it can be filled spicy or sweet. the other dish, is a kind of French fries, prepared faster by the spiral shape. The next one is a Schnetzel meat bun. En roast pork that is gently cooked in the oven and therefore tender as butter. The changing of layers happens because there are different temperatures everywhere, which means that the meat is cooked more gently. And the pretzel, is probably one of the basic baking chains, it is even the symbol of the baker's craft.

The first food: Raclette ist great, but originally it is from Switzerland and not from Germany. Actually, for Raclette a group of people sits around a pot (on an open fire) with melted Swiss cheese, everyone puts small pieces of bread on a skewer and dips them into the melted cheese. With Raclette you drink a good bottle of red wine (in Switzerland mostly Chasselas, Rivaner, Silvaner or Grauburgunder). In Germany many families like making Raclette on New Year's Eve.

A group of people around a pot with melted cheese is named cheese fondue not raclette. Racclet is grilled cheese over meat, vegatables or an bread.
