I was born and grew up in Vidin. Breaks my heart to see what has become of my beautiful town. Hope it changes for the better?
I never visited your city. But I like to see Vidin on webcam. Vidin is great!
Hello from a bulgarian from Plovdiv.Bulgarian nature is one of few things keeping me here,in Bulgaria, and for first time I'm focused on baba Vida forthress, thanks to you.Besides I'm fan of only natural wonders.I know Bulgaria isn't prepaired for mass tourism, but may for good-saving it from destruction.
Thanks for the comments. I wasn’t able to go to Bulgaria last year because of the travel restrictions. First time in 12 years that I didn’t spend summer in BG. How is Plovdiv, I have never been.
@@MikeGoughTV Well was the cultural capital of Europe 2 years ago.Its beautiful for tourists ,I suppose,it has very well preserved roman ruins- amphitheatre and roman stadium and the old town is builded in 1800's during bulgarian national uprising and arheologic museum ,jamiah from 1500 around and other stuffs...For example one german said :here so much culture in this town.I think its not so much ĺike in west Europe, but different. These days are pandemic so vibes are different for us,bur not for some tourist.Actually I prefer b7lgarian wild nature for his recovering force ,not so manmade wonders.cheers
@@stefanvrachev992 Sounds like it is definitely worth a visit when times are better.

Thomann any day.
Remember... since leaving the eu, Thomann have to charge shipping, ( not the same as free delivery) and uk customs. Add a hefty whack to the price. The carriers charged a lump.
You should have visited Calafat , the city in Romania just across Vidin, and make a comparison. In my opinion Calafat is much better.
Sterian Burghelea I passed through there a few years ago coming from Bucharest.
@@MikeGoughTV And which one was better?
I only drove through at the end of a long journey so didn’t pay it much attention. I will have to go and check it out next time I am over there. “Thanks for the tip” 👍

Have you been to Bulgaria this year?
Unfortunately not this year. First summer I haven’t been there for 12 years.
Nice Place
It’s a pretty cool spot and fairly under visited as far as tourists go apart from a few tours off the river cruises.
dope stuff keep it up.. can we be friends
nice
Thanks
good work
Cheers 👍
nice content
Thanks appreciate the comments.
Where you been mike?
I have been stuck in the UK for some time now.
I love Birmingham but I've never met anyone saying that Birmingham is unclean and industrial.
CLICK Many years ago it wasn’t the place it is now. That was kind of what I was meaning in my comment. It’s a really great place now and will hopefully be even better in the future.
For normal people, it's just some weird small city... for us, the people who have spent some lifetime there, it is where we left our heart. I was born 1999. I spent my childhood in this town, and it was the best childhood one could ever inagine. It is my home, and I love it very much. Also, a suggestion. Google up the inventor "Viden Tabakov" - he played a big role in the apollo mission (well, he took a great part in the construction of the rockets, he wasn't the only one who worked in the team ofc) He comes from around there, Stakevci. It is a nice story really. Bulgaria is a treasure, but one has to be connected to it in a certain way to really feel it.
Person nummer eins Thank you for your nice comments. You are right about Vidin, it’s a very special place once you have a connection.
Hi Mike.Just bought a property off the hoof on e bay in Sratsimorovo,V little online about it but know its small and rural so any info extra would be nice thx.
Hi Melissa, It’s not a place I have heard of. Where about in Bulgaria is it?

Vlctuss Thanks glad you liked it. 👍
Outstanding video. You show the area so well and edited everything great! Love it, and need to add Vidin to my travel list. :)
It was a bit of a rush job to be honest. I have cut the time right down that I spent on editing.
@@MikeGoughTV I know how that is. I'd "like" to spend more time editing ideally, but have to do things quick with all the other life stuff that gets in the way :)
I know what you mean with all the other stuff. Also sometimes I think it's just better off done than perfect.
Great video looks very interesting. There are some great things to see in Bulgaria.
There certainly are. I am hoping to visit a lot more in the future. 😄
