What is Birmingham really like?
When most people hear about Birmingham they think of a big dirty industrial city or its football teams Birmingham City and Aston Villa.
The Birmingham accent, made famous by Ozzy Osbourne and Peaky Blinders was recently perceived so negatively it was ranked “less intelligent” than silence.
There is a lot more to Birmingham than first meets the eye. In this video we look at some things to do in Birmingham. Did you know? There are more miles of canals in Birmingham than in Venice.
In this video we take a look at Gas Street Basin located, off Broad Street and between the Mailbox and Brindley Place canal-side developments.
We also take a look at the huge redevelopment taking place in Birmingham and Grand Central development.

I love Birmingham but I've never met anyone saying that Birmingham is unclean and industrial.

CLICK Many years ago it wasn’t the place it is now. That was kind of what I was meaning in my comment. It’s a really great place now and will hopefully be even better in the future.

Birmingham is one of them places, if you dig under the surface a little there is plenty around. The location is great because its right in the middle of the country so its really easy to get to other places. As far as the UK in general definitely.
