  Well wife caught me watching my guilty pleasure James abroad. I was surprised when she sat down to watch you she even sat up watching the bath scene. Well James she announced that we will stay in that hotel going to Chiang Rai next month. So now my savings for July will be spent on a hotel 😅. But honestly we pass through that area many times a year and we never stop there. We usually stop for a night in Uttaradit with the psychotic poodle and the missus of course.

  Hi James, lived in Klong 4 just up the road from your daughter's uni for 20 years. Although worked as a Q.S and lived in 9 countries with my Thai wife, we eventually left in 2017, and now live in Sunny South Wales. In 2017, I reached the age of 62 and the heat and crap going on in Bangkok was doing my head in. Hence returning home for good. Although born and bred in Cardiff for 35 years, like what Annie said, I can't live any city anymore. Anyway James best of luck for the future.

  Wow - that place is amazing James . Even staying in the pleb rooms would be nice but the Royal Suite takes it to another level ! I will try and go there one day ! And the price was a real shock ! Awesome video and looking forward to the next one

  I know this hotel, it's down the street from Lotus and Global House (my Thai Home Depot). It's a good hotel. It's $180/night on Expedia.. On trip just this past May, we stayed at the Grand Central Point Space in Pattaya. A new hotel with a small Waterpark with a wave pool (my son love this hotel). Near a Terminal 21 mall. That mall has a decent food court also has a night food market below it.

  Yes, the prices vary a lot. I would like to try that hotel in pattaya,, the prices have gone up quite a bit since it opened. Looks fun 👍

  @@jamesabroad8589 yeah it's crazy. I paid 5,600 baht per night at Grand Center Point. But seeing how happy my son was in that Waterpark was worth it. I think you would like it.... there is a rooftop pool that looks amazing, we weren't allowed with my son.... they do have suites that are $250 and up

  That's an awesome find James, not very often that you find that sort of traditional style in a hotel. The cannon on the roof is a great touch. On the royalty front, perhaps you'd be more Prince Harry than Prince William 🤣 Many thanks once again, great video.

  I didn't actually use the WiFi. They had plug sockets on both sides of the bed which isn't common here. there were a few more around the room as well so not too bad for Thailand.👍

  I wouldnt call that a luxury hotel, it is a boutique hotel as it is called. They are nice and fun, they are actually where i like to stay at cause they are all unique and different in there own way.

  Hi James, I ve been travelling in and out on Bkk regularly for the last 17 years, Best I ve found for near Suvanabhumi, was recently on the last trip, Names Divalux. Decent prices and a massive pool and the corner rooms at least are great (not tried the others). Have a look. About 2500 a night. I LL be using it for flights in and out in future unless it gets too expensive/ popular. Free airport transit. Does have alot of Chinese tourists, Best Regards Keith

  I stayed at that hotel in 2019 when I got married, It's absolutely lovely. I was in Bang Rakam and Phitsanulok last week bust just landed back in the USA today 😞. Keep up the good work, We are really enjoying the content.

  The British government is paying more than £85 a day just to house, provide spending money, and process every cross-Channel asylum seeker. 99.9% will never leave. One volunteered to go to Rwanda to collect his £3k cash incentive and free rent for 3 years! He'll probably rinse and repeat in 2027. Just as well that British money is only digits on a screen, with no precious-metal backing since 1947.
