Thank you for sharing the 🏘 house for sale . Cheers mate 👍
This one is good to buy then rent or visit 👍🏼
I really like that house.
Yup, I like the separate kitchen with sliding door!…..no lounge stinking of old food and cooking oil!!
A yes from me. Great place and great price 👍 Your house is sorted. Big. 🙂
Very nice for the money!
Looks pretty good, compact and bijou as they say. Japanese style is a new one to me. great video

Cheers Paul. Yes, seems to be in fashion here at the moment.😁👍🍺
Gorgeous house. Great price. However, after 22 years in Japan, I've yet to see a house with a toilet and shower/bath sharing a room. Hygenic, perhaps, but not especially convenient. (Absolutely loving the regular uploads. Be careful, you may get a reputation.😉)

~Wow James on a roll great to catch up on all your new videos on a rainy day on Phangan. I love that house a bit small for a big bloke like me but lots of thought went into the scheme and nice touches thinking outside the box. We always used Phitsanulok on trips back to Chiang Rai as a over night stop lovely place and a really big temple in the centre good memories there. Hope your lovely mother is well and I am sure looking forward to the spring and getting out in the garden.

That’s a very nice house. Seem to have got most things just about right for the price. Interested in seeing the much larger one you eluded to at the end. Best from Yisa and I.

Agree, a tidy place for the price. The big house was also interesting. Will probably put up next week. All the best.👍🍺
House was nice, build quality looked ok as well I thought the lounge was a bit narrow and I would have gone for a two bed to get the bigger lounge area the outside space was good as well, another good video James and you got the shower head and mountain in as well 👍🏻

Yes, would have preferred to sacrifice a bedroom for a bigger living area myself. Cheers mate.👍🍺
Hi James, Thanks for the new video - I do like the house reviews. This house has little to do with 'Japanese' style save for the wood effect tiles etc. Japanese houses tend to feature lots of wood. That being said, its a nice house for the money - best feature for me? the great sink in the bathroom, really nice. I would need to know more about the expected use of the 'play area' adjacent to the show house. I dont feel that they will build behind, or in front of the houses as the land is on different levels, is currently in rice production and quite wet...(PS you'd need to be able to forget about that busy noisy road too..) When I get over this year I hope you'll be up for a day or so showing me some of these little build projects - I'll provide the beers and lunches!! Cheers, Lindsay

Cheers Lindsay. The communal areas don't get used much on these types of projects. Only about 8 units, so shouldn't get too noisy. All the best.👍🍺

Interesting house. Nice to see something different. Most of the houses here I think the living room is way too small as you say.. Maybe it is because we want bigger area where we relax since we come from a colder climate and spend alot of time indoors. Maybe 🤣 cheers 🙏

Thanks for another great vid James! I agree with you though maybe scrap one bedroom in favor of a more open living area. I was curious though what the two snubbed out pipes in middle of back of the house down low were for? Maybe gas or water supply inlet?
@jamesabroad8589

Cheers Mike. I didn't notice those pipes, but could well be.👍🍺
Well the insulation doesn't appear too good as you can clearly hear the traffic from the highway. Lovely house though but a little too isolated for me.

@@jamesabroad8589 Going very well, lucky we have a good builder. But you still have to keep an eye on the work being done. Introduced to him by LAT AND MIKE that have a KZread channel and are building a house not far from here.
Love the house , left wondering as to why they have external door locks on the bedroom doors . I would also place the wardrobe in the master bedroom against the wall on the opposite side removing the windows after all there is one either side of the bed. Doing this would then also allow you to have entry to the ensuite and the shower,sink,toilet could be placed against the other wall . Then the laundry space outside the back door I would fully enclose only a matter of two more walls being added and possible a door frame and door. By the way what camera are you using , a DJI Pocket ? cheers Bravefart

For the solar street lights; red light is to tell it in charging mode. I got something similar to yours and the red light appears and blinking (meaning in charging mode) when the Sun is up.

Still haven't seen a thai house with a workable layout. Need space for an office. Ideally a den with less windows (theatre)

Hi James, thank you for showing us agian some nice property in Thailand. But what the story with the water tank, is it becouse of wate rshortage in summer season? Btw, are thouse houses internet ready or does additional contrusction work needed for cabels?

You're welcome mate. Most houses come with a tank and pump for some reason lol. You have to install WiFi etc. Yourself. Only electric/water is provided by the project owner. All the best.👍🍺
Nice spec in the house. Nice windows. Not sure who it is aimed at with the Japanese novelties in the communal area ?

On a serious note: why are house designers not taking into consideration solar, EV charging, passivhaus techniques, rain/grey water storage, overhangs (to decrease the need for AC), but instead, doing the ridiculous (like putting a paddling size pool in the front garden - then again, it's all the rage in the summer on English council estates!). This is the same disease English building co.s suffer from - poorly designed but nicely displayed properties. The trouble is Thailand, like the U.K., will have to retrofit relatively new houses because the companies were too 'cheap' to care. On a lighter note: coconut oil, new clothes, gym eqpt, new haircut - is someone on the 'hunt' again? Hehe!
@jamesabroad8589

Haha always on the hunt lol. All about costs I suppose when it comes to properties.👍🍺

@@jamesabroad8589 construction cost indices bears no relationship to real estate valuation - whatever the proposition you need to put a real world perspective on it, and ask yourself what would the average Thai pay ...or are they looking to fleece foreigners with cash. Just because the developer may want a profit doesn't mean he or she has a god given right to one Brave new world buddy Remember CASH IS KING
I prefer condo in bkk is safer, but not japanese house in chiang mai kap.🙏
🙂
Like the haircut, James! When you said it was a Japanese style house, I already knew to expect small rooms. The garage and outside area were cool, but I felt like the rooms were designed for Hobbits! I think we're going to look to buy something second hand, fix it up, and keep saving to buy/build what we'd really like. I don't remember if you said this already, but how big is your yard, if you don't mind me asking?

I was bitterly disappointed with this house James. As you know I'm a toilet buff and I had high hopes of seeing some Japanese toilets from the future in this house. I was left wanting. I guess such toilets would have added 20 plus percent to the cost. Did you visit the barber since the last video? Hansom man!! Great to see Bob living his best life. Keep up the good work mate 👍

Great to see another house video from you James.. I do really enjoy these, but it buggers me almost out of my soul to see this same living layout on so many of thai houses.. In my view it is plain horrible design having the bedrooms all leading straigt out into the living room and gosh I just dont like that... On the other hand you have had some awesome houses on your channel where they have not been like that.. Either a 2 floor or the layout has been designed and sectioned off that the bedrooms are divided away from the living room with a corridor or something :) But again enjoy your videos and hope that you will be putting more up :) Cheers and Khob khun krab :)

Nothing much Japanese to see here. Advertising hype suspected. Modern Japanese house construction often feature minimal and seemingly random window placement and plastic fake brick cladding. This is much nicer.🙂
No Japanese toilets, I notice. If they did, it'd double the price of the house
