Thank you Matthew for a very explicit explanation of these two sharpening methods in Gimp. I like floating dialog boxes so I instantly see the changes after recomposing. I make a tiny box with my LAB image. Then when I recompose, I can instantly see it on the original. Why can't Gimp have real time LAB adjustments like Rawtherapee or other editors?? It hasn't changed for more than 20 years. We have to "decompose" change then "recompose" over and over, until we get the desired result. Thanks again Matthew.
طريقة سهلة وبسيطة. أحسنت
I only speak one language, but using a translator, I was able to find out that your comment says, "Easy and simple way. I did well." and I wanted to say thank you for the positive feedback. Glad I could help.
How to install pip using cmd?
I don't have a video on how to install pip using only the command line. However there are some videos online that may be helpful. Here is one that shows how to verify that you you have pip installed and/or install it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dYuWto9-Z8mdY9o.html

I appreciate that!
good, thx
No problem!
Thanks. Good content well explained. Will definitely give it a try.
Glad it was helpful!
Hey Mathew I think you do a great job in explaining what your doing and what your trying to achieve. I've watched so many different Gimp videos trying to learn what I want to achieve with an image. I really like your demonstration/teaching style. It's ironic just a couple days ago I watched someone else's video on using the Unified Transform tool that was ok enough. But what I was trying to do was align one image frame on top of another to try to make a stabilization gif if you get what I mean. If I told you what for you might think I was crazy lol. Anyways I just gave you a subscribe.👍
Thanks!
Nice Content
Thank you.
When I click the crop tool... it never shows the "aspect ratio". How do I get it to show up? The toolbox is there but I can't open up that tab underneath with the aspect ratio... when I click on the crop tool, it's just not there...
Thanks for the question. Here is a video that shows you how to resolve a similar issue: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kYuolZabgamTc7A.html Thanks for watching!
