In this video we style the call out row on the home page of the web design project so it resembles the image from which we are working. We change the structure of the HTML so that the page can have specific bootstrap classes added to the code to reach style goals. And we add our own classes and write the CSS rules to adjust the appearance of the page.
Here are some of the techniques we use in this video of the series:
1) Add HTML elements to the code to change the structure of the document.
2) Apply Bootstrap 5 classes to HTML elements to adjust the alignment, spacing, and color of those elements.
3) Create our own classes and apply them to specific HTML elements so we can style them.
4) Write the SASS code in SCSS file using variables to assign color to parts of the page.
5) Run the SASS compiler script to generate the CSS for the design.
