Creating Bordered Image Darkroom Photos: Add a Border To a Photo Using GIMP

In this video I show you how to create an image that looks like it was taken with a physical camera and developed in a darkroom or at a fast photo place. The effect is done by adding a small border around the outside edge of the image. You could also think of this effect as adding a frame or a border to the image. Additionally, I demonstrate how you can expand on that technique and make the image look as if it was taken using an instant camera (Polaroid).
In the video I demonstrate the following:
1) Adding a transparent layer.
2) Selecting the entire canvas area.
3) Shrinking a selection.
4) Inverting a selection.
5) Filling a layer with the Bucket Fill Tool.
6) Cropping an image.

I only speak one language, but using a translator, I was able to find out that your comment says, "Easy and simple way. I did well." and I wanted to say thank you for the positive feedback. Glad I could help.
