In this video I show how to make a logo for an imaginary auto repair shop using Inkscape. The logo that we create will be the brand logo for an imaginary auto shop for which we are building a website in another video series on this channel.
The logo that is created in this demonstration video is created using the following techniques:
Creating unions and differences using the path menu in Inkscape
Aligning shapes relative to the page and to other shapes using Inkscape
Creating multiple shapes around a central point
Duplicating shapes using shortcut keys
Moving a shape's pivot point for non-central rotation
Creating shapes that you can see through using Inkscape
Since this logo is actually part of a website project, I did not show to create the background on which the logo is presented in the beginning of this video but it made using a noise filter in another graphics program.
