  Literally Tom Bombadill was the worst part of the book. I got so tired of it, I skimmed through that whole section.

  Sam literally carries Frodo through Mordor. Honestly the fact that he remains the same through the entire series is more of a continuity error than if he were to get jacked

  Saruman is never displayed as a loyal servant of Sauron in the movies, but as someone taking advantage. You can clearly see how his uruk hai are seeking the ring for him, and not Sauron, and care nothing for Sauron aligned orcs

  In warhammer fantasy, there was an entire war over a beard. DO NOT Touch a dwarf's beard!

  I think that was the fist annoying change that really pissed me off - showing Saruman as openly working FOR Sauron as if he's a glorified janitor.
