I have been 29 years without a drop of alcohol in my life because people like Cristiano Ronaldo and CM Punk never have done it and it is for the best. Not a hard task because people believe with no alcohol no fun can happen.

This book is one of my favourites books ever. Already bought it for 5 more people I knew they needed this perception of life. Your writing style is remarkable, made me feel I have a deep discussion with my self that lead me in so many different conclusions every time I read it! Thanks for that ❤

When the internet didn't exist, people had no choice. We had to go out there to talk with people and socialize. The internet killed it. Nowadays, you can stay home and just talk to people and make virtual friends. No doubt people feel lonely. Even if you go out, all you see are people looking down at their phone. The other day, I went to the hospital, spent 12 hours there, and everyone were on their phone the entire time. It's crazy

Can you make a video on college friendships plz? it is difficult because there are sooo many options for friendships and hard to maintain em all and get close to them, especially when your part of a huge group like a fraternity.

I really liked this podcast and agree with much of it. I love striving. I’m a learner and a do-er. But if you’re not good at being pushy about raises and getting more money…you’ll never get paid more. Companies take advantage. Changing jobs is hard so you have to find the right company to give this effort to.

**Title: "7 Underrated Habits for a Better Life (and 7 Overrated Ones Too)"** **Introduction:** In the quest for happiness and productivity, we encounter a barrage of advice from influencers, authors, and scientists. But amidst this flood of recommendations, it's crucial to distinguish between what truly works and what might be overhyped. In this article, we'll delve into seven underrated habits that can significantly improve your life, alongside seven overrated ones that might not live up to the hype. **Main Ideas:** 1. **Setting Realistic Goals:** - **Main Idea:** Setting goals is important, but the value lies not in achieving them exactly but in the journey and habits they foster. - **Explanation:** Goals serve as motivational tools, guiding us toward positive behaviors like exercise, healthy eating, and self-care. The emphasis should be on progress rather than perfection, acknowledging that deviations from the initial target are natural and acceptable. - **Practical Lesson:** Focus on consistent habits rather than fixating solely on end results. Celebrate progress and recognize the value of the journey toward your goals. 2. **Genuine Self-Care vs. Self-Indulgence:** - **Main Idea:** True self-care involves activities that nurture well-being and prioritize long-term health over short-term indulgence. - **Explanation:** While self-care is essential, it's often misrepresented as indulgent behaviors like spa weekends or extravagant trips. Genuine self-care encompasses setting boundaries, prioritizing rest, and engaging in activities that promote mental and physical health. - **Practical Lesson:** Prioritize activities that truly replenish your energy and well-being, focusing on sustainable practices rather than fleeting indulgences. 3. **Self-Discipline as Self-Love:** - **Main Idea:** Self-discipline is a form of self-love, involving the commitment to beneficial actions despite initial reluctance. - **Explanation:** Cultivating self-discipline means making choices that prioritize long-term well-being over immediate gratification. It involves parenting oneself by engaging in activities that foster growth and resilience. - **Practical Lesson:** Embrace self-discipline as an expression of self-love, recognizing that short-term discomfort can lead to long-term fulfillment and success. 4. **Balancing Romance and Friendship:** - **Main Idea:** While romance is important, friendships are often undervalued in contributing to overall happiness and well-being. - **Explanation:** Research indicates that individuals with strong friendships tend to be happier and healthier, highlighting the significance of platonic relationships. Despite societal emphasis on romantic partnerships, fostering meaningful friendships is crucial for mental health. - **Practical Lesson:** Prioritize cultivating and nurturing friendships alongside romantic relationships, recognizing their profound impact on overall well-being. 5. **Critical Approach to Therapy:** - **Main Idea:** Therapy is valuable but requires a critical approach to ensure compatibility and effectiveness. - **Explanation:** While therapy can be transformative, it's essential to recognize that not all therapeutic approaches or therapists will be suitable for every individual. Taking time to find a therapist who aligns with your needs and values is crucial for the effectiveness of the therapeutic process. - **Practical Lesson:** Approach therapy with discernment, prioritizing compatibility and effectiveness over convenience. Don't hesitate to explore different therapists until you find the right fit for you. 6. **Finding Purpose with Realistic Expectations:** - **Main Idea:** Purpose is significant, but it's essential to maintain realistic expectations and recognize that not every aspect of life will feel purposeful at all times. - **Explanation:** While having a sense of purpose can provide direction and meaning, it's normal to experience periods where certain aspects of life lack clear purpose. Embracing the mundane and finding meaning in everyday experiences can contribute to overall satisfaction and fulfillment. - **Practical Lesson:** Pursue purpose with flexibility and openness, acknowledging that purpose can manifest in various forms and may evolve over time. 7. **Mindful Enjoyment of Life's Simple Pleasures:** - **Main Idea:** Embracing life's simple pleasures can have profound effects on happiness and well-being. - **Explanation:** Engaging in activities like dancing, journaling, or skincare routines can uplift mood and enhance overall satisfaction with life. These seemingly mundane activities offer opportunities for mindfulness and appreciation of the present moment. - **Practical Lesson:** Cultivate awareness and gratitude for life's simple joys, recognizing their capacity to enhance well-being and foster a deeper sense of contentment. **Conclusion:** In navigating the plethora of advice aimed at enhancing happiness and productivity, it's crucial to discern between underrated habits that offer genuine benefits and overrated practices that may fall short of expectations. By embracing self-discipline, nurturing relationships, and finding purpose amidst life's complexities, individuals can cultivate a more fulfilling and balanced life, grounded in authenticity and mindful enjoyment of life's simple pleasures.

My kid kicked me, I slapped her bottom (cushioned by the diaper), made a stern face and said “you never kick anyone, especially mom and dad!” Guess what, never happened again… She’s a thriving, loving 3yo… I can’t say the same for my friend’s 3yo, who rules her mother like a little tyrant… You have to be authoritative and at some stages, a slap on the bottom, a good ole chancla/chinelo on the bottom is the only effective tool to help the kids learn facts about consequences for not respecting the boundaries…

With regard to making it in music, whatever ‘making it’ means. Being the best musician, song writer or performer doesn’t necessarily equate to being financially successful. Signing a record deal with one of the major labels is now mostly a matter of needing to firstly have developed a significant social media following and being saleable (physical attractiveness probably helps…)and that doesn’t automatically equate to earning money either. Perhaps rather than setting a deadline for success they firstly need to set a target of what success can actually look like for them.

When I have the funds, I'm leaving this country. This is beyond stupid how we're modifying ourselves just to keep people who project all their hatred from men onto 1-3 men. Fuck that. If anyone could respond to this, I'd be glad to hear it. But in my mind, guys have every reason to be pissed. Fuck their feelings.

I usually love your content, and it has helped me recover from depression and anxiety when "professional" counseling did absolutely nothing. However, as someone who graduated with a MS in physics 4 years ago, sent out dozens of job applications, got rejected from most without an interview, the few jobs I did manage to land were traumatic nightmares, and I still rely on my parents to help pay the bills, the message of this video fell flat. Businesses are designed to gatekeep wealth and exploit the poor, not provide opportunity.
