Channel name needs changed from "Skills With Phil" to "Phil Has SKILLS!!"
Thanks for the brake down! Getting stoked to work on this skill.
The enduro trails at Bromont are my favourite trails there! So fun!
I love how candid you are with your review. "... this stupid little OneUp tool. This thing is freakin incredible." The OneUp engineering team was on an emotional rollercoaster with that comment haha
Pulling down the Whistler Gondola from the top is a dangerous and illegal act that could result in serious injury or even fatalities. Gondola systems are designed with safety measures to prevent such incidents, including emergency brakes and security features to prevent unauthorized access to the gondola cabins and machinery.
Bromont tends to be wet
Dude you are unreal people don't realize how hard this is.
Das my big bro at 3.03! 😂 He sent me the link to this video and now i am hooked watching. Keep at it and be safe! *goes to more bike vids*
Of course this bike park is just built diffirent, natural topography doesn't repeat itself :P
Have you ever ridden Keystone Mountain bike park in Colorado?
I have not. To be honest I haven't spent much time in Colorado, the ridding there has never really appealed to me. I'm more drawn toto PNW and BC terrain.
@@SkillsWithPhil You would love dr park trail Phil. The climb up, not so much. But you could fill a whole vid with that one trail... in case you're ever near gunnison
Heck Yea! More Phil does Canada. Sick Bro 🤙 edit: HOLY DANG! OVERALL ACTION.DUDE 🎉🤘 Ref last our convo My replies wont post. Its Wilderness Tours, and I sent the full deets via reddit message 🤙
AH thanks! I haven't logged into reddit lately I'll have to double check.
Hey Phil, was wondering if you have any plans to visit Kton this summer. I know its not your favourite bike park, but it is quite the place.
definitely need to check out Bromont 🤤
boom [hand gestures] 🤣
That Shamurai trail is neat, gotta try this one out
What knee pads do you wear? I see everyone wearing the poc ones. Mine are a bit bulky.. so trying to find something better.
I generally don’t watch bike park laps(how many times do I have to see a-line or bear mountain)but your riding is on another level. I think the bike parks you choose help as well(yes, I know you have whistler videos as well lol)The way you attack tech stuff most would be tip toeing through and the gaps you decide to yank are mind blowing and also encompass the essence of true mountain biking that those smooth flow jump trails just lack. I’ll continue watching your bike park laps!
Come back in the fall when the P7 chair is opened there a many more Shamourai-like trails in that section of the park. Too bad you missed a few good options after your climb back like Bois l’eau.
Should have been any weekends of the season... Phil probably didnt know that it was not running anymore cause he said something about chairlift and enduro trails in his first or second video. Lol
He made it look so easy !!
if youre staying near the mtl area definetly check out mont blanc when it opens. Its quite the drive from bromont but the trails are amazing.
I believe these were not recorded extremely recently.
@@nathankovach7414 Victoria Day weekend during Bromonts Opener...
Your french is excellent!!! The guy who talks to you could make an effort by using words that you could understand easier!
Let Ryan ride .
That Ryan guy is super chill
Rode Bromont on Saturday for first time in over a decade last weekend. Really great seeing the same trails ridden by you guys. I'm getting back into the sport after a long hiatus and the stoke is high.
The last trail "Mordor", Hailey (sorry if miss-spelled!) would have definitely been able to do it, cause I do it on my hardtail (and she's a more experienced rider than me!) :P also you guys miss a big rock roll in the first section (that I don't do on my HT), at 23:24 it was right there on the right. There's even another special line at that spot even more on the right. To finish, you still have a couple of good trails to check out on the Enduro side so it will be worth your while to come back! ;)
Upload from Phil = good day!
Awesome epik video
iron forearms Phil... if you've ever ridden these trails...you know! Loving the Bromont series!!
Looks like a great place to ride.
Overall shorts ftw!
That fine pair in the video cost me $60 at Tractor Supply Co ;)
@@Dix-OnBik3s 😂 that's great!
12$ to run up, wut, at Bromont lifts are still pretty cheap compared to the rest so... I'm all in for creative financing options 😂
The burrito I’m eating have are spicy!!
I have are no idea what you are saying. 😉
#5 I want to do a side by side. Phil riding #5, my daughter riding #5 ! :)
Love the title Phil 🙂🤣
Only those who have are early get a chance to see all the fun typos i make in the titles :P
Dont change it , its better this way. More human hahah . Sick trails and rad laps with some cool people 🤘🤘@SkillsWithPhil
I feel like the title is missing some words or something. I can't work out what you mean here. Not that it matters much, I know I'm in for a good time with your videos!
I do this all the time :| I'll rewrite a title/comment a few times and make partial changes, I'll inevitably leave in or omit a few words. When I go to reread what i wrote my brain will naturally read what it wants to hear and overlook the glaring mistakes.
@@SkillsWithPhil Super relatable lol
That was the smoothest "Crash" I have seen.
Bailing safely is a skill!
@@SkillsWithPhil Yup! I ask myself daily if I still have that skill or not. I guess ill find out sooner or later LOL
The bike crashed, he just politely stepped out of its way.
Siiiickk 🔥

Bromont is not smooth you guys were flying! Great riding need to hit it up this summer again.
Thanks for sharing captain! Quite interesting to hear your preferences. In other news, crazy to think 7 years ago I pulled the trigger on a 2016 Tokul 1 due to your Tokul 3 vids. Which, out of curiousity what happened to that thing? I'd sure like to get a hold of one; hint, hint haha! I'm one of those weird people that built a bomb proof trail bike. I went with a 2022 SJ Evo Alloy frameset and ended up slapping a Fox 38 on it with a Cannibal T9 front tire and Butcher T9 rear in mullet. Pedals like a stubborn mule uphill currently, but I don't care as it has no problem hitting sharp edged rocks on the descents. And on the side of flats, I will always ride them because, well, I'm garbage and bail frequently lol! Any who, I enjoyed the vid and am looking forward to the next one.
Any thoughts yet on the continentals vs previous maxxis? Would love to have a video of what you think!
No interest in a mullet?
Damn. Yall ride good. Nice.
Great episode. I like to hear your take on things and why and also that you’re not a freeloader. Phil, what kind of gloves do you use? I need a new pair.
I've been using IXS Carve gloves. They're fairly affordable, simple, and easy to get on/off.
TY Phil! Just ordered them! By the way, it was great meeting you at the cable drop last year with BCPOV!
As someone who has never done this are you just sight riding these trails out of the gate and how hard is that?
Man , your french is Great !
Bravo pour ton français Phil! Bonne ride à Bromont!
Gawd we only saw it for a couple seconds in this video but THANK GAWD GT changed their freakin font back to something that wasn't an awful font. You wounldn't think it would make that much of difference but when your entire brand revolves around 2 letters and a font.... changing the font.... fuckin' death. Recognize what your brand is. ITS AMAZING, its freakin GT baby! and its 2 LETTERS AND THE FONT. Without that font its just 2 letters.
Phil says "Tu peux parler français", and Axel just goes full Quebec accent slang !
