Chasing Pro Rider Jeff-Kendall-Weed Down Jump Trails at Galbraith
Спорт
For our last destination on our west coast trip, Hailey and I stop in Bellingham (Galbraith Mountain) to ride with Jeff Kendall-Weed, another pro mountain bike rider and also fellow KZread content creator. I was hoping to check out Blue Steel but due to an event happening, the jumps were closed for maintenance.

Glad you enjoyed it! This was super last minute but I'm stoked we were able to get out.
One of the best colabs in mtb. Both of your riding styles compliment each other. Would be cool to get Jeff out for a East coast collaboration.

My 2 favorite riders in 1 video? Let me grab a snack! Awesome video Phil.
This is one of the best videos you’ve ever posted. You are fearless dude.
Stating "not going as fast as I could" while barreling down the hill.. Love it, JKW has a very nice style and sounds very friendly. Hope he's okay

He's a great dude and really interesting to talk to. We have a lot of shared interests.
It's literally scary how good Phil is and unbelievable how incredible JKW is. Jeff, you break your foot mid-ride (?!?!), can barely walk, yet can still ride a bike like no other. Phil, I'm in awe at how much confidence you have to hit stuff blind and "going straight through things" and was holding my breath the whole time you and JKW were hitting that massive jump line. Thank you guys for inspiring us mere-mortals to ride more and push our own limits.
Best combo Iconic riders on youtube. Always wanted to jump like the skills of Phil and be known as the filipino Jeff Kenda Weed! Long time fan of both forever in the sport of mountain biking!
Very inspiring! Two of my favorite riders. One can tell the love and respect that you have for each other. Kudos to Hailey for following behind these two fast riders and catching a side clip every now and then. Cheers
You and Jeff are the go to mtb KZread channels. Love seeing the collaboration. Jeff and his Peter griffin moans had me because I say his video first lol😂
Are we supposed to not point out the fact that Phil can ride full gas like that without knowing the trail? This guy is mind-blowing! Great video!
Two of the most stylish riders out there! Crazy skills riding that blind, Phil!!!
2 of the best and nicest riders out there. Thanks guys.
Two legends UNITE
Mohawk blind was insane
4:36 Phil -"case" and still going faster than i can go lol. thats awesome
two of my favorite youtube mtb riders colaboration yess
10:06 is amazing
Good Combo! Your two styles mesh well together.
Hailey's bike is awesome looking! Love the color and the shape of the frame is badass.
I feel like JKW looked better in this video than he does on his own channel. Fresh perspective and less cut scenes so you really get to see him ride. Boys were ripping...looked super fun!
Phil!!!!! I am from that area I'm happy you went I was asking you to let me take you around But jeff is the man he knows the place like the back of his hand
Great vlog, great to see you hook up with Jeff. You all had a great time which made viewing easy....

Awesome riding and a great vibe from you all! I hope your foot is healing up nicely Jeff!!
Thanks for including two other rides with Jeff in your doobly-doo Phil. I'll go check them out now. Great vid as always. Did Hailey make it down the same run? Bye from the west coast. Thanks for visiting! Keg~
This is my favorite one of yours. Absolutely amazing
Watching this makes my palms sweat. Epic.
Sweet riding!
Ive been binge watching many channels the last week on mountain bikes and the camaraderie among riders is cool to see im 56 and wish cud give it a go but too late for me , ill keep watching though be blessed riders and enjoy
I just love your videos. Been watching now since five years. Love your style and enthusiasm.
Awesome! Like always. Thanks Phil
Love how you just send it. Supreme confidence!🔥🤟🏼
Brilliant, good fun! Jeff's use of his front wheel seems to be optional, rather than a riding necessity! Phil, keep doing what you do 😁👍‼
I've been wanting to see you guys do a collab forever. I live in the northwest and we're very lucky to have places to ride like Galbraith and it was super sweet to see you hit it up Phil. Thanks for being a genuine Rider and putting out solid content. I grew up in the Northeast and have family there and I go back and ride Vermont every year. 🤘😎

It's their 3rd I think. You can search for their first collabs. First one was with one of the grandfathers of mtb trials, Jeff Lenosky. 2nd one they both have it in their channels with a Q&A on JKW's channel.

What a great video!! Phil never been on the trail and hammers it!!!!
Sooo epik awesome beautiful video and trail
This video was great, you guys had me dying. 😅
What a mad track !!!! This is what we need more of in Aus.
Jeff is the best! Glad you got to show his skills
love to see this content!
Excellent mashup! 🤘🏼💯
I been loving this mountain range started riding the first time ever last week
Nice ride you always make it look 👀 so easy!! 👍😎🤘
WOW!!!
New subscriber here .. nice sesh with jeff. Enjoyed it!
This is awesome. Only thing that can be better is Phill vs Jeff jumping a BMX over a couch like he did with Seth back in the day lol.
you guys are absolute monsters.
You guys should ride together more! Epic combo. Complimentary personalities. Great content!!
The collab I’ve been waiting for! 2 of my favorite KZreadrs. Epic! I guess now I’ll just have to wait for you to hop the pond and ride with Matt and jono jones!
I seriously love the way Phil just sends first runs such a different approach to most other riders but shows the confidence built upon years of experience and sheer talent. I remember a (whistler?) video from last year where another rider talked about Phil’s vs Remy’s approach to new trails and this just further reinforces the observation they made.

Usually with good jumps, if you get the previous jump you you have the right speed for the next. It's definitely gotten me into trouble though :P

@@SkillsWithPhil that’s definitely something I’ve noticed as I’ve started riding park. Rode Trestle for the first time yesterday and was almost full send my first run of No Quarter and Rainmaker.
Jeff riding with a broken foot, epic! That's hardcore bro!
Hey Phil! Love your videos man. If your ever on the western slope of Colorado I think you would like the palisade plunge for a big ride. 6,000 ft of decent and 1000 ft of climb. 32 mile trail with some good tech. Starts in alpine like conditions and drops into high desert! The bike shop I work at and resort I bike patrol at offers shuttles too! It’s relatively a new trail but I think you would love it. There is also a ton of other good riding in the area with a lift access resort, trail system in fruita, loma and grand junction and the palisade rim trail is great too! I really enjoy your content and what you do for the MTB community. All the best, Dusy 🤘
my two favorite mtb youtubers
Mohawk is such a fun trail! Gailbraith is a bad ass place to ride, come ride Pilchuck tree farm sometime, lots of rock slabs and tech trails on a privately owed tree farm open to mountain biking and hiking
Man you're the best👍
10:10 good save Phil, bit long for the hip, that is riding
I met Jeff Kendall weed when I was riding one day and I got a picture with him I was very lucky

They really have gotten better and peoples internet connects have also gotten better which really helps! That being said, I do lower the contrast when things get really dark. I rarely do that, but had to for this video given the lighting!
Sick riding!

Me too. I felt bad about it, absolute trooper though!
You should ride Snoqualmie pass it had some really fun double blacks some of the best in the state imo
For Phil to just follow on Mohawk blind like this, is so impressive. It's like riding a super long dirt jump set that is even very physically demanding, but also has to be one of the best jump trails in the world!

Another 2 of my favorite comments... 🤙
Do you use flatt or Clips pedals?
So looking at rumor mill on the racing side, are you likely done with GT after this year? Looks like their race team is shutting down for good.
Didnt realize Phil rides flats? Cool!
“Love it.” Ben Stiller or Phil “Do it. Love it”.
Just rode there. Those jumps are so much more technical then they look on camera

is that oval chainring with an idler? wont it reverse the effect of the oval chainring?

Shouldn't affect it matters. The high pivot really comes into play when descending where you are usually pumping and not pedaling.
Like old times!😂
Did someone say "show off " hahaha in the beginning of the video around 26 seconds 🤣
I got the same grips as you
2 of my absolute favorite mtb riders/youtubers. Both boosty. JKW doesn't like his front wheel, as always! 😆
Is there somewhere that we can read about the blue steel drama?
We need more highland
But how much does your bike weight? Cause i don't find it.
The ultimate KZread mountain bike video would have Phil Jeff Kendall VanCan dangerous Dave and Dale stone…. Change my mind
