    I spent good money on an app that is for learning instruments. Yall, I have learned more from this fella Sam than the app. Do with that what you may, but thank you Samjamguitar!

    technically the 5th should be dominant

  • @Samjamguitar
    @Samjamguitar2 күн бұрын

    Only when harmonized once more! As a simple triad, you only have the intervals 1-3-5 (major). Harmonizing once more would reveal the b7 (1-3-5-b7) making a dominant 7th chord.

    Hi I have a pretty bad ear… I’m scared I can’t tell most of these apart TT…..could you explain why 3:39 the 2 representations could be perfect fourths, I feel the two shapes sound different to be the same thing

    Great video but I still need help! My pinches sound like ZZ Top or Van Halen but not like Zakk Wylde!! Can someone tell me if it's simply not possible to hit a pinch harmonic like Zakk Wylde on every high gain amp. My amp is a Yamaha Thr10x very high gain but small amp but never sounds like Zakk! I hit it in every way possible on my thumb using my Zakk Gibby but it never sounds right. Is it more likely my amp or just my technique still? Tried forever to sound like his pinches!

    I've been teaching guitar for off and on for 30 years and this the best explanation of the modes I've seen yet as I used to learn patterns from books but ended up noodling and couldn't use them with confidence this an excellent source for understanding and practicing the modes but however I found the Locrian quite useful in classical to build tension then resolve to the Aeolian. Awesome video 🔥🎸🔥
