Bears waived Bobby Douglass after week one. Had they kept the running QB, the Bears would have had a formidable running game with the rookie 'Sweetness' and unheralded rookie Roland Harper

I likely watched that week 2 studio show in '76. I for sure remember the week 1 show (was historic - Phyllis was new and bleeping gorgeous). Holy smokes.

So glad they’ve been performing this song live! It really wasn’t given the recognition it deserved throughout the decades. It vanished from the airwaves in the US after 1979 and I never heard it again until the late 1990’s despite it being one of their top ten Billboard hits. Don’t Bring Me Down was on the same album and it’s been played continuously on radio for decades along with lots of their other hits.

I was 14. The Patriots were the best team that year. They beat the Raiders by 30 in the regular season. Then the refs gave the Raiders the playoff game.

I was 10. I watched some of the Steelers Browns game, then the entire Rams/Vikings game at 4PM EST in Akron, Ohio. I remember the day well.
