I love these old NFL broadcasts. They take me back to my youth. I couldn't wait to get out of church so I could get home and watch NFL football. Life was tough on a kid in the late 70s.
The 49ers went 2-14 in 1979, Bill Walsh’s first season as coach. Two years later they won the Super Bowl.

Nice to have you back....missed these videos.
Year three (and the last) of the absolute BEST gameday openings by The "NFL Today" on CBS. The action-packed opening clips were examples of the greatness of NFL Films led by father/son visionaries, Ed and Steve Sabol.
So basically this would be NFL Network's Red Zone if it was a thing in 1979?
Too Tall's manager had some serious sideburns.
Ed "Too Tall" Jones...was a little "too tall" for the boxing ring.
