In Fact I’m sure whoever is venerated and Respected in any Country will have some History that could be overshadowed by past actions of one type or another?. The bombings of London England were so horrific that people gathered their children, put them on trains to the country side to save them. The gathering of the Jewish populace along with catholic nuns and priests, gypsies, blacks from Africa and so many others sent to concentration camps was overwhelming. My two great aunts died in one of those concentration camps for just being Jewish. I cannot fathom the horrors of the Japanese and German nazis. Shalom to you.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is very eloquent and honest, as always. He wears a "I'm Ukrainian" T-Shirt with pride. 🇺🇦 Not as a President, but as a Human. This is the greatest political speech I’ve ever had the privilege to hear. I have so much love and respect for president Zelenskyy , and for all Ukrainians. He speaks from the heart, with integrity, courage and truth. I hope Ukraine emerges whole and free, a shinning light for the world. While the US slides into authoritarianism, we can do well to look to Ukraine for an example of people willing to give all to keep their freedom.

I guess you haven't seen his special forces rounding up citizens for "denying the invasion" as treason. BTW, Zelenskyy is an actor, and a puppet. Watchu' know about Bandera? Watchu' know about the Azov Regiment? Ukraine is not free, and the people aren't, for the most part, willing to "give everything" to keep their freedom... Adult males aren't allowed to leave the country and there are extremely large, all women protests made up of mothers, wives and girlfriends of the men, who these women themselves say were thrown to the front lines like cannon fodder. Also, Ukraine is a dump and the poorest of all EU countries... And that's very interesting as well as saying a lot when they are also one of the most natural resource rich countries in the world. So why does none of it add up? Follow the money.

What freedom? He bans speech that he does not like, bans political parties that do not agree with him, and allows nazis to run rampant in his military and country. This is not a leader, but a weak little man in front of a green screen acting.

I thought we'd be forgotten and now I can't help but tear up knowing that someone remembers other Slavic countries outside of Ukraine and Poland exist. And obviously, the majority of us stand on the side of Ukraine. We want you to win and though there are limits to how much each individual can do, I think most of Europe will certainly try to help our neighbours partly out of principle, and partly because we know from history that we're always going to be next. It'll be our friends, our colleagues our family, and everything we know and cherish about our imperfect but nevertheless wonderful homelands. I hope your soldiers and your civilians stay safe and the war is won with as few casualties as possible.
