Zelenskyy is probably one of the only world leaders willing to go out of his way to help his country. He is probably one of the bravest leaders especially for only being 45. He could’ve made peace with Russia, but chose to stand and fight for his country’s freedom. Also he learned English so it shows he went out of his way to ask for help. We must help Ukraine!!

He wanted to make peace when he was elected in 2019, but the far right pressured him out of it. Soon after Russia invaded, he and Putin were negotiating peace. Boris Johnson flew into Kiev and told him not negotiate an end to the war, but to keep fighting. I think he means well, but he has been controlled by outside interests ever since he was elected.

I'm not sure that he could have had peace under any circumstance, because Putin was determined to have his war. Russian war aims at the outset included regime change, possibly the execution of Ukrainian leaders including Mr. Z. Putin did not regard the Ukrainian State as legitimate, which is quite an extraordinary stance. Officially the Russians have not changed their tune to this day, although in secret they may have gained a little respect for their enemy. He did remain resolutely in place, so we shall never know what might have happened had he accepted that 'ride'. It's not unthinkable that resistance could have been organized without him, but I have little doubt that his personal presence stiffened morale at a critical juncture. Whatever the outcome of this war, I think he will be remembered for what he did during its opening phase. In 1914, Austria-Hungary attacked a far weaker Serbia but was repulsed. The next year Bulgaria joined the Central Powers and delivered a stab to Serbia's back as the Austro-Hungarian offensive was renewed. So in 1915 Serbia was overrun by enemy forces, but that did not mean its extinction, for Allied victory in 1918 led to its restoration. Russia is trying to get Belarus involved in a renewed northern offensive, or so it seems. As senior partner in an alliance with Russia, China has skin in this game too. Iran is already significantly involved through its drone programme. Presently only Sovereign GOD knows the short- and long-term outcomes. These will not be accidental. There is an Old Testament Scripture which speaks of Him as 'guiding the nations on the earth'. This guidance does not depend upon their awareness of Him. The leaders of both Russia and Ukraine seem to have some awareness of Him, how much it is hard to say, but their interpretations of His will differ greatly.

How do you think Ukraine's people were doing before Russia invaded? Spoiler....They were doing worse. Ukraine has been shelling its own citizens for 8 years before Russia invaded. Ukrainian children went missing daily. Ukraine has a very large child trafficking industry. Ukraine is better off being wiped off the planet. And given that 80% of Ukraine has no power or water in freezing temps, they won't last until spring.

That's so important for us to receive your support, especially moral one, cause nobody of us doesn't know when he is dead due to constant missile attacks from russia. During every siren we wake up and we call to our families to know, if they're in safe. Me, personally, I stopped to go to shelters... I know that I'm wrong, but I am tired to be afraid... tired not to live normal life, tired to afraid for my mom, who is 76. She doesn't go to shelter too, cause sirens sound almost every second day but she doesn't have enough health to do it. So, she hides in the bathroom, "the rule of two walls", that doesn't work properly, when the racket destroys the whole house. God bless you and I just wished to thank you for all you've done and you do! I'm sure we'll win one day!💔

Never underestimate anyone. He is an example.

I've seen Zelensky's passion, determination, guts, and noble character since day one of the horrible, unjust war that Russia waged against Ukraine. What a great example of moral political leadership he displays. He's speech was electrifying, despite the fact that 50% of Ukraine's energy infrastructure has been bombed out by the terrorist state of Russia. Slava Ukraini!

Really impressive! He had congress in the palm of his hand before he even walked into the room. But then he entered and nailed it! Great speech, but also great charm - kind, humble, appreciative but strong, confident and resilient. You can see his warm humanity and his fierce resolve.

@@James-gr5mx - SURE, there are other issues - and they deserve focus. But those issues have nothing to do with NATO - they don't threaten the security of NATO nations. Russia attacking an ally on NATO's border is a DIRECT threat the the security of Europe and MUST be addressed immediately! And look how successful is NATO's investment in Ukraine - taking down and humiliating the (once) mighty Russian military. Incredible bang for the buck! Perhaps the best military investment in history! And all that about Zelensky being a billionaire clown is just nonsense showing you're likely a bot.

His section on America’s revolution was genius messaging. He was saying “Let us have our victory, but support us as France supported you in your independence.”

He learned our history for his speech! This man is amazing. I will happily give my tax dollars to help him protect his people. It’s not just Ukraine on the line. He’s basically helping to stave off World War III.

Good lesson to Ukrain public for dancing to USA tune. Now Ukrain president should stop acting like puppets of USA and stop betraying Ukrain public for USA bribery. We can give Zalensky a trillion dollars EVERY YEAR of this conflict, and still Ukraine will NEVER win this war to their satisfaction ---- what putin's kremlin has done is consolidate the animosity between Ukraine and the breakaway republics, that there is a stonecold reality and an existential factual reality, there is NO going back like Israel or Kosovo, the breakaway republics are gone for good.... Let's them state their terms join Nato/EU and we can all move on to a new peace....

I'm tired of seeing elderly Americans having to make a choice on buying food or paying rent. most americans just feel the same before USA involvements in two world wars, they don't want to involve in Europeans or Pacific wars. But no matter what you do to avoid it, still you can't and you will not escape the incoming global conflict. The best you can do is to help other nations to prevent it.

We have no fear, nor should anyone in the world have fear. Ukrainians gained this victory, and it gave us courage which inspires the entire world. Americans gained this victory. You united the global community to protect freedom and international law. The battle is not only for life, freedom and security of Ukrainians but for any other nation which Russia attempts to conquer. This struggle will define what world our children and grandchildren will live in. Our two nations are allies in this battle. Russians have a significant advantage in artillery, ammunition, missiles and planes. But our defense forces stand just like the brave American soldiers who fought back Hitler’s forces during the Christmas of 1944. We have artillery, yes. Thank you. Is it enough? Honestly, not really. When Russia cannot reach our cities with its artillery, it tries to destroy them with missile attacks. If your Patriot (missiles) stop the Russian terror against our cities, it will let Ukrainian patriots work to defend our freedom. It is just a matter of time when Russia will strike against your other allies if we do not stop them now. Ukraine never asked the American soldiers to fight on our land instead of us.
