you guys must be running some amazing tires I noticed that during the whole video there was almost no wheel spin. amazing traction for a 1000hp car. kudos on a sexy, solid build!

You can't compare any mustang to a corvette that's a joke corvettes are real sports cars/super cars. Mustang is a great muscle car but the corvette is on another level of performance.

Really???? Cause last time I checked a mustang has far more potential then a corvette. And if you look for the fastest mustang and for the fastest vette you probably guess which one you find being quicker car. The stang if course. Most people that drive vettes are 50 year old bald or balding men that like buying cars that are reasonably quick from the factory because it's probably the second fastest thing in their life compared to love making. Lol . Built not bought is always the way to go. Oh and by the way ford gives you a beautiful car and a ignition that works. Chevy gives you a overpriced piece of crap that will kill you just as fast as you can get to 60. Which means you Chevy guys got a little time. Make sure corvette and new gen camaro guys get to the dealer for recalls due your outstanding build quality. I am sure we will all be paying for another bail out soon. And maybe this time when discontinue the camaro they bring back the firebird.

kylealovejoy PLEASE show me the fastest mustang vs the fastest corvette..... look at the IPS z06 6.xx @ 221 mph and its tagged and drives on the street...... Let alone all the stock interior stock weight 8 second c6 z06's on low pro drag radials.... but hey that's just me they say the youth is wasted on the young!!!!!

Trans in the stangs have been junk since the begging of mustangs show me any 5/6 speed that ford put in there cars that even comes close to the t-56 let alone the tr6060 I agree with Donnie Marks 100 % not even in the same sport let alone class lol stick to beating up on Camaros more mustangs speed........ Oh and another thing I'm 29 and own two Vette's so step your game up!!!!!! By the way show me all the records mustang beats from the factory, Corvette's are killing records from the factory and that's against 250k cars never seen a mustang on Car and driver going against any what they call "super cars" do your research and come on back with your petty "key points"

kylealovejoy I didn't read anything you said after the first sentence. The Mustang is an entry level sports car with the exception of the GT500 and Boss. The Corvette has always been at a higher level of performance than the Mustang. There is a reason the Corvette costs more bc they sure as hell didn't spend that money of the interior. Look at skidpad times, figure 8s, braking times, 0-60, and track times. The Mustang gets destroyed in all of them by the C6, not to mention the Z06 and ZR1... Mustang competes with the Challenger and Camaro, not Vettes, Vipers, and Ford GTs... Go home, you're drunk Mustang fanboy.

So the the mustang is a entry level sports car except for the boss, gt500, and the Saleen? Are not those mustangs just like the entry level base corvette, zo6, and the zr1 ? And your 29 and own two corvettes? That just means your twice as dumb as the average corvette owner. FYI in. 2011 a twin turbo mustang in Australia went a 5.9 @254mph in the quarter which in my book is faster then any known corvette and there are others that are even faster then that this year. So my point remains true. Daily driver 8 second car? There are plenty of 8 and even 7 second daily driver street mustang. Read this years kots on mustang and fast fords and this was the first year that that two mustangs averaged 7 seconds in the quarter and drove hundreds of miles to next track . And the Saleen both handles and brakes better then any vette made at this time. Step your game up and read up and you will find out the truth. Plus rousch has a couple of performance packages that would have that "entry level" sports car eating vettes for breakfast for a little more coin.

It's not supercharger or turbocharged, it's procharged, a belt driven turbo which is a combination between the both. Best of both worlds. Low end torque with no lag!

No, pro charger is a brand. It’s a centrifugal supercharger… which is in fact a supercharger.

I agree. I've Seen lingenfelter vette's accelerate much faster than what he was showing at the end of the video. great car regardless.

This thing is supercharged. Look in the video and you will see the belt that drives the supercharger. F1R procharger head unit DP billet supercharger bracket

Theres a couple of clips in here with a little popping caused by a bad plug, but we switched it out!

It sounds like it's running a little lean. When he took off and ran it up to 3rd it started popping on accleration and if it is looked up I bet the nox gasses are higher showing that it's running just a little on the lean side.

Cracked plug. Replaced it and shot more video but some of the resources we had the first time weren't available so we just kept it

Great car! The ignorance of some of these comments is mind numbing, lol. Question, since DP built it, did Taylor set it up on a MoTec Standalone, or did they just reflash the factory ecu?
