Ngl Yuna sometimes even deserves better. I think it's because she's the closest out of Itzy in terms of age when it comes to kpop stans - but a lot of them and even some international Midzys seem to be jealous and somehow intimidated/thre*tened by her. She's a lead dancer and lead rapper, does her role as a sub-vocalist well, matches the Korean beauty standards the best, has outstanding stage presence - and yet a lot of fans would rather jump of a cliff instead of acknowledging or even prasing her for that. They leave her out of the dance line when they talk about it, they say she doesn't deserve to be the visual and that Lia should be it. + If you take a look at Itzy videos and the comments below they often praise everyone except Yuna, she gets ignored a lot since a few eras. And her fancams have way more Korean comments than the other ones since that's where her biggest fanbase comes from. Yet she has the most viewed debut fancam in history of kpop and her facecam for Not Shy has even more views than Itzy's official performance on Inkigayo - 4th gen it girl for real! Yuna has my biggest respect for debuting at such a young age under a Big 3 company and literally always delivering, doing her best and being professional at all times. I think she deserves even more appreciation sometimes. People who call her mean names like overrated, pick me girl, attention h*e are just jealous of what Yuna already achieved at her young age.

The problem with the dance line needs to change ASAP. A lead dancer with a potential to be a main in other groups should not be just ignored like this. They can't differentiate between who they like more and who needs to be appreciated for what they are capable of. Just because Yuna doesn't do covers as much as the other 3, it doesn't mean that she's not up there too in terms of skills.

You know what is our main problem.. she is a good dancer, good rapper and not to mention about her stage presence (we all know how strong and great her stage presence is since her debut and she is known for this) but the prblm is when her stans see her as visuals and compares her visuals with others, everytime mention about her visuals..pls don't..its the main reason why so many people only see her as visuals..praise her talents and not for her looks..visual is not talent. everytime she gets praised how her visual is standing out the most.. that's why some people often underestimated her.. not comparing or disrespecting anyone but for example ryujin, she gets praise for her amazing dancing skills, rap, stage presence and they don't even care about her visual thing..same goes with chaeryeong too..i'm mentioning only these two here bcz i was just giving an example.. don't misunderstand pls..i'm not a solo stan lol..since they were the first that came to my mind..i'm not disrespecting anyone..

@@Sammmm85 Not really. If we stop talking about her visuals, Lia stans will add it to their claims that "majority" or "all" MIDZY thought that Lia is the visual. I know it is not a talent but it is the least we can do in a fandom that likes to underestimate her in every way possible. Of course, we need to add how talented Yuna is all the time. There is no stage that she is lacking and yet the comments about her come and go. There is no way people don't see Yuna's talent and charisma, they just don't care enough. Of course, they care about all members' visuals and I am a witness to those comments. We are not the ones who need to adjust here, we are even barely heard.

She's underrated and often underestimated tbh. My brother who used to know nothing about ITZY chose Yuna as the best dancer in the group but now that he has his bias, all he can praise is his bias. There's one poll about ITZY as performers and Yuna got the 2nd least votes with less than 10%, imagine that sht. She's often left out when it comes to the dance line and people can be annoying when pushing their bias to be the visual. When she nailed that rap part on Twenty, those "fans" be like: "Rapping is not all about being fast" which is true but we all know that Yuna can do more than that. She's ridiculed when getting more lines but ignored when getting least, some might even say iT's fAiR. MAKNAE DESERVES SO MUCH MORE from the public and from her own group's fandom. Underestimating this precious giant angry rabbit will not make your bias shine brighter.

Yuna not overrated if anything she the second most underrated member in the group. Jyp is promoting Itzy as if they only have 3 dancers . All of itzy can be main dancers they just have a different style of dance. Yuna amazing with rapping and singing and she has visual she an all rounder just like the rest of itzy. She should get appreciate just as much as everyone else

Finally someone said it ! Yuna is indeed one of the most popular Itzy member in Korea (her outfits get sold out, she also has very good BR during their comebacks, articles about her go viral every time she appears on award shows…). However she isn’t popular within the fandom, and some midzy are okay with not recognizing her real worth. One of the most obvious example of this, is (as you said) the fact that people don’t even know she is part of dance line… I think she is just seen as the funny maknae by a big part of the fandom and many don’t want her to get out of that role 😕
