@@alecocothunder8277 I don't know but it might be because it's quite old fashioned with the early 90s soft-pop type of beat and the ballad structure. It's extremely far from the modern k-pop style. That's what I guessed at least when I read that it wasn't her favorite style, but it could be something else.

Oh my god same bestie!! Eleven really was a breath of fresh air. I had no hopes for the whole fourth generation ever since they started making songs with weird lyrics and a gazillion beat drops which was very annoying and such a ache to the ear. I never really looked forward to IVE debut but once I listened to ELEVEN, I was so glad they existed

For me personally BLACKPINK has the best debut of all kpop groups Boombayah is a fun upbeat track that made them blew up internationally since the very beginning Whistle is a very experimental song that aged like a fine wine. It also gave them their first win not so long after their debut. Each song showcased their vocals, raps, dance, charisma and potential to be one of the biggest groups in the industry. I think that publishing 2 such different songs for their debut was a brilliant idea since with that they could satisfy the biggest amount of people. BLACKPINK really set the bar high since the debut.

Whistle/Boombayah while they might not be the best songs for me, I actually prefer this debut mostly because of the performances. They just debuted and still managed to keep up with the more experienced idols who were promoting at music shows. Their Japan debut as well. Hands down the 2nd best gg debut just behind SNSD.

Everglow's debut album is literally called "Arrival of Everglow," and if that isn't impactful idk what is... even the name "Everglow" is impactful! I also had never heard of them or their company when they debuted, but dang they shook the world, and the keep shaking the world with every comeback!! They have evolved to become one of my favorite groups😊 And yes Latata is a queen! There's a reason I bought the "I Am" album, because I only buy albums when I am floored by every song, and (G)I-DLE's debut album was nothing short of PERFECT

I wasn't there with Bp during their debut times, but later on I randomly started listening to their songs and GOSH. Whistle. I didn't even know that it was their debut song. They sound so professional and BRUH. THE BRIDGE‼The whole song is such a treat to your ears.

My top 10 1. La ta ta(G Idle) -Fight me if u think its bad. 2. Black mamba(Aespa)-ITS ADDICTING 3. Given-taken(Enhypen)-Oh god the song's amazing and i absolutely love the concept !! 4. La vie en rose(Iz*one)-Slayed. 5.Bon bon chocolat(Everglow)-Tbh they used the autotune in such way that im lovin' it. 6.Eleven(Ive)-Yes besties its ADDICTING. 7. Whistle(Blackpink)-Absolute bop 8.Dalla dalla(Itzy)-They pulled the teen crush concept so well like. 9.Crown(TxT)-Its amazing !! 10. I really liked Itzys debut with the song Dalla Dalla. It was so upbeat and fun and don’t get me started on the dance break like !!! Their performances with the songs were also extremely good and really showcased the girls talent in singing and dancing!🤍

LATATA is honestly such a good song but I don't listen to it that often but when it comes on I forget how amazing it is. I remember the day it came out 🤞🤞🤞I think I don't wanna listen to it too much so I don't get tired of it.

Eleven was honestly the first 4th debut songs in the last few months that I liked the first time I listened to it.

Dalla Dalla- THIS SONG IS MY JAM, Like Ryujin's opening and dance break center, Yeji's Malijima, Yuna visual queen, Chaeryeong rap, Lia MAIN vocal moment. Glass Bead- This is the song that brings my queens back, this was just perfection for me, you can't change my mind about it. Fire- UHM SIS, CL slayed. 2ne1 slayed. Peridot. Vanilla- Overall, I really liked this song, the vocal and rap and dance was pretty solid, so I can't complain, this is a bop for me. So Bad- it's a good song. Periodt.

Mine has to be 1. Latata - (G)-Idle (Obviously, still one of my favorite gg songs today. It was very fresh and the fact that the girls make their own music still amazes me. Queens indeed) 2. Chase me - Dreamcatcher (I heard their music back in the day but I wasn't a huge fan. But when they redebuted as DC I lost my sh*t. So goodddd) 3. La vie en rose - Iz*one (Felt like a song by a group who had been in the bussiness for a long time. So elegant and just overall perfect.) 4. Mr ambiguous - Mamamoo (What can I say, I'm a sucker for jazz. This song is still soo good. Stan mamamoo.) 5. Q&A - Cherry bullet (I just love this song, it has a special place in my heart.) 6. Into the new world - SNSD (Raise for the kpop anthem. Paved the way like true queens.) 7. Glass bead - Gfriend (Uggghhh this song gives me LIFE. It was so hard to see them disband. Stan Viviz.) 8. So bad - STAYC (I just love their voices so much and this song showcased their wide set of vocals. Still one of my favorite songs by them.) 9. I wasn't really into 4th gen groups before but when I saw ITZY'S debut song "Dalla Dalla" It instantly changed my opinion when I saw the choreography i saw izone's chaeyeon dancing to it and the song was really catchy and I love the lyrics it sounds so powerful. Dalla Dalla is hands down the best debut song.

Blackpink, gidle, iz*one, ive and aespa were there my heart can rest 😌

I got some especially my first one: Vista by Fiestar: This is the best debut ever and I never hear anyone talk about. It’s literally everything and shows how sad K-Pop has to go over the top with their concepts and groups and such nowadays. My favorite parts of it is obviously the vocals, because each girl shines and it just sound so good. Then you have the composition of the music and I just love it; I really can’t explain why though. The dance is fun and I miss the days people did dances that were just more natural and could be learned easier. But the best part is how they were marketed. You got a story mv and a high quality dance video that is one the same set as the MV. And I’m not surprised that it was by Loen Entertainment (who also made Brown Eyed Girls, IU, and Sunny Hill). Fire by 2NE1: Literally shows how talent they were from the start, with two music videos and even got the attention of Will.I.Am by the end of the year and already had plans for the American debut that never came. Blackpink may be big, but I’m sorry, without 2NE1, they and many other artists wouldn’t exist (including One Direction, Little Mix (especially them), and Fifth Harmony) and they get zero acknowledgment of it; tragic! LaChaTa and Chu by f(x): the first is the actual debut, but only being like 2 to 3 months apart (with the disturbing Chocolate Love CF MV between them; 4 out of 5 members were underage) Chu was the one I saw first and got me into K-Pop. Many people talk about TeenPop today and honestly (with quirky and experimental concepts also) I think LaChaTa and Chu both have that in the bag. Also they had great dances and really had their own thing, which is hard to find today with the saturated market, f(x) made the way for more alternative concepts. Crazy by JongHyun and Danger by Taemin: Mostly because I’m shocked that main vocalist JongHyun wasn’t first to debut and how both of them had such great visions for their debuts. Such Kings and I really missJongHyun so much, not just for his music, but for his humility and considerations outside of the music sphere. Great solo debuts. Free Somebody by Luna: One of the best solo debuts and people act like she didn’t. Like you have Taeyeon and Boa under SM, but let Luna fall to the wayside? Nope, SM never gave her a chance and if they did, I bet she would be one of their biggest solo artists. Love for Luna, because she is criminal underrated. Domino Game by Kiss and Cry and 1.2.3 by Purfles: These girls has such great debuts and both never really got out there. K&C didn’t have the music video budget, but anyone with ears and eyes knows they had the talent. The vocals are so crazy and honestly surprises me from how such a small company has vocals like that. Even the dance was amazing. Sadly disbanded not long after. Then in the same year, the Purfles came out with their debut and honestly I didn’t even know how well the composition was until I watched a person who knows music saying they do everything right that even big companies get wrong. And that to me is so cool, because they also were from a small company. The MV was amazing too, loved that it was very girl empowered. But o think they fell off, not because of the company, rather than not selling music outside of Korea, because I never was able to by their music anywhere. Sad. Russian Roulette by Spica: Maybe isn’t their best song, but I promise you that album is underrated and they just had some of the. Best vocals (member Boa was a vocal trainer for Infinite), so honestly criminal underrated as well. I honestly think people think being pretty is a talent, because I see more pretty groups than talented groups nowadays.

Whistle has such a unique concept. It was way ahead of it's time and that song is untouchable.

Well, in my opinion MAMAMOO's "Mr. Ambiguous" deserves to be listed in the the best girl group debuts. It showcased their amazing soulful vocals and the jazzy/funk sound that had a lot of people in K-Pop saying they were more like seasoned pros instead of a rookie group (and they cleaned up with many Rookie awards for this and "Piano Man" at the end of 2014). The MV is a lot of fun to watch as well with the retro visuals and the video-within-the-video showing the girls practicing, being filmed and being "chastised" by senior artist Baek Ji Young on their performance, making the girls cry, but it all turns out to be prank.

Firstly choreo is INSANE for a debut secondly the pre-chorus is one of the prettiest in kpop (next to deja vu by Dreamcatcher) and thirdly the raps are so good) Ponzona - Purple Kiss (honestly can't wait for the comeback and this debut is also a 100/10. To be honest only pixy and purple kiss wowed me last year as rookies the rest were kinda meh to me) Pepe - CLC (missing CLC and also this song is really good) To heart - Fromis9 (irritated that people don't talk about this debut that is literally filled with serotonin) Dalla dalla - Itzy (suprise it didn't make it in the video as it's iconic) That's it for my list

Into the new world(SNSD),Like Ooh Aah(TWICE),Ice-Cream Cake,Happiness(Red Valvet),Dalla Dalla(ITZAY),Black mamba(ÆSPA),O.O(NMIXX) were some of my favourite debuts there are more it's just there are more but others are mentioned in another comments and these are left out so i just commented them ✌🏻😌💖💝✨

For my opinion, the best debutes ever in whole kpop are blackpink and itzy’s debut. Because songs are freakin bops and make u wanna dance all night. Also they showed their potential literally from the first seconds. Especially blackpink. I really love other groups but their debuts couldn’t make me fell like “wow this is so wonderful”. You know others don’t have that fire.

Eleven by Ive is a pure gem to me, it's not typical at all like the other 4th gen idol songs. It is something new and fresh indeed. And Aespa !! They have the best Vocals, I just really wish Sm entertainment let them sing live more, The best vocals we got. And Blackpink!!! AGHHH My Queens,The song "Whistle" is live.💜

"I'm not a fan of autotune" as someone studying music I wanna hit myself on the head cause 99.9% of musicians use pitch correction and pitch correction IS AUTOTUNE. What you hear in bon bon chocolat is uniquely done eq and some effects like the robotic voice effect. and robotic effect is not AUTOTUNE!!
