In fact Lia has many more of this qualities than other main vocalists, that's because i love her so much

It’s funny people don’t even think about their music being more dance focused and that usually doesn’t let the vocal shine like other groups. But she can sing, she just doesn’t go from 1 to 100 like some artists. I remember listen to T-ara back in the day and how everyone said Eunjung was the main vocalist, when the company said it was Soyeon. I get why, be Eunjung would go to high notes, but Soyeon was the main vocalist, because she has really good control of her vocals (similar to Lia). So it’s sad people try and think someone sucks at singing because they don’t have Mariah Carey/Ariana Grande vocals. People are just obnoxious when it comes to singing.

I love how LIA is not the stereotypical Kpop main vocalist. Her forte is RnB and Jazz. She might not be the best in belting but her voice is as sweet as honey!

lia is an alto. that’s why she gets all the hate, lol. vocalists with lower tones are always considered “weaker” than those with higher tones, but the truth is that they’re no less talented - their voices are literally just different. it’s frustrating to me that people think that being a good singer hinges on high notes. it’s just proof that they know nothing about music lol

Lia carried itzy's vocal behind her back for a years rn but ppl still want to discredit her. the one who said she is the weakest vocalist barely have knowledge about vocal lol. all they know are highnote , highnote and highnote. Lia's voice is jazzy-kind like of voice , so belting isn't her thing. well she obviously can hit highnote as high as she want but she chose to not to do so bcs of her confidence and she just want to stay on her comfort zone which can make her voice shine more. so for those who didn't have any knowledge about vocal , better yall just stfu and go learn sumn about vocal before coming at her.

I know this isn't about her dancing but I just want to say something quickly, ever since itzy debuted many people have criticized her dance skills, saying that she's the least best dancer in the group. Being the least best at something doesn't necessarily mean you're bad at what you're doing, but just the fact that people compared her to Yeji and Chae who are both main dancers says a lot. This happens way too often, and it's just because she mainly trained to become a singer which is why she's the main vocalist, in each comeback Lia has shown more and more improvement and proved that she has more talent on her pinky that these people do in their whole bodies

tbh lia is my favourite dancer in itzy, because she has a relatable quirk of making small adjustments to the choreo to make it easier to keep up, like in mitm (i think) there is a part where everyone bends their knee inward, but lia stamps her foot a little instead because that's easier to do quickly.

I wouldn't say the most unique but it does stand out alot, I think So-yeon, Minnie and Yuqi from (G)I-dle have voices more unique than Lia however Lia's tone is better in my opinion, her sultry, smooth vocal really elevates ITZYs vocal line and it might not be the best but among 4th gen girl groups but it is memorably and easily distinguishable. And before Midzys come for me, this is my opinion and ITZY are my alt group, my opinion comes from love and not hate.

Everyone who people gass up for being a main vocal, has the same basic sounding voice, they sound like carbon copies. its boring.

Lia's lower register is so GOOD 😊 she's up there with weeekly Monday 🥰

One day, Lia found a poor kid on the street and said ' kiddo let's go to my home'. From then on, she taught her how to sing. She cared for her and made her food. Maybe why a lot of people think Lia can cannot sing is because female idols sing with a high-pitched voice the most and that Lia is best at deepest voice moments while her company doesn’t give her that.
