actually yami's monster had 3^∞ atk, which is way higher than ∞ (assuming ∞ is the size of the set of natural numbers) and also even if it was a tie yami would win because dartz has 0 lp

​​@@dudono1744Actually, Atem's monster just had infinity ATK, which is why it was destroyed in the battle that destroyed Serpent God Geh. That's why the 3 Legendary Knights that made up Timaeus the Knight of Destiny returned to the field after the battle.

Zexal is more of a battle shounen with card than an actual card game anime imo. They went for the epic, over the top feelings rather than strategizing (not to say there isn't any).

Yonko As Purification said, learn to read. "More of a Shounen" means there're BOTH Shounen element and regular card game element. If other YGO anime is 30% Shounen + 70% card game, Zexal is more like 60% Shounen + 40% card game. I literally said at the end that "not to say there isn't any (strategizing)", my friend.

Zexal going over the top was so funny to watch both times I watched the show. And don't get me STARTED on some of the wild card effects, I can't believe Lionheart's anime ability is what it is

Actually, in the current real life meta. The only importance LP has is in End of Game Procedures. Otherwise, nobody hesitates to sacrifice LP or take non-lethal damage.

Mad respect to Dartz, holding the record for 8 years straight, but Don Thousand is just next level. Maybe we need another 8 years or even 10 years to pass him.

I've thought of one you might have forgot (it's a bit of an obscure one); either that or you chose not to include it since the character is nameless, but in Episode 165 of GX, we see that Aster practices for the pro league by dueling one of his assistants who starts with 10000LP compared to his own 1000. But I don't believe the assistant was given a name, and the scene itself is very brief so its easily forgettable - I only remembered myself because I recently rewatched GX on Crunchyroll.

My highest life point in a game that i have ever did was 33000, somehow my enemy was able to summon a cloud giant with 24500 so i use a drain shield and used a second trap to kill his monster.. He surrendered so i won lol

The next Yu-Gi-Oh series 2020 Main antagonist:my life points r now 103000 Top one lp from zexal:(visable frustration)

Most extreme case would be something like Dartz attacking Yugi with The Great Levithan with infinite attack points and Yugi activates Draining Shield.

Zexal went over the top with attack and life points and that's why its one of the best yugioh out there. It has soo many crazy battles and Zexal is the one that changed history of yugioh and made monsters sooo OP. Remember before how it was mostly about traps and spells and Zexal changed all of that around making some of those Numbers the most OP shit ever. And have you ever seen like 200,000 attack on one monster in any other yugioh? Nahh

i was dueling a bot on dueling nexus my life points was at 68700 by using a combo with Gravity bind solemn wishes plus Spell abstorion including darklord marie neo spacian air hummingbird other healing cards lol

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t there a duel with Jaden and Zane in season 1 of GX where they were both at like 26000 each? It was in the graduation duel episode (I think) towards the end. Does it not count because it was basically like a one turn thing because they both lost the life points at the same time? (If that makes any sense???)

Seeing as you mentioned two characters who started at 12000 LP, I'm surprised you didn't mention the tag duel between Judai, Sho, and the Paradox Brothers (I forgot their Japanese name) in the Honorable Mentions for starting with 8000 apiece.

For 8000 lp, you missed erazor, scritch, and what’s-his-name who went against shark and Quattro.

You forgot the Big Five when they were in Tristen's body dueling Yugi and Joey since he started at 8000.

I mean, Zexal went on crack on the couple last episodes, so I don't think the producers will ever reach these crazy amounts (being ATK or LP), except if they use illicit substances lol

Can we get a top ten damage list? Not just life points being lowered, like exactly how much damage an card’s attacks or effect would do, as in, if your life points never run out, how much damage would a certain attack or effect do to both players? For example, when Jaden uses Final Fusion to make both players take 57800 damage during his duel with Zane, they obviously didn’t take all of that damage because they didn’t have enough life points left, but that damage would still count for the list as 115600 total damage from a single card(which I’m pretty sure is the number 1 spot for most damage a single card did in the series, but I could be wrong). Also, I’d include monsters having multiple attacks as adding to that number, like when Shay from Arc-V uses Rise Falcon to attack the several monsters that the LDS trio had out and dealt multiple different life point damages each attack, that would add up, we’d find out the total damage from that card’s multiple attacks.

This was during a test but my highest playing the card game was 130,000. This was due to triple soul absorption pot of desires and necroface comboing with other stuff.

Everytime I duel Rex and remember his LP: Ah s**t here we go again

Maybe there will be a glitch in Vrains at some point and messes up the life point numbers for both duelists and give one of them an insane amount of life points. However, I don’t see Don Thousand’s life point amount get beaten any time soon, unless something crazy like I said above were to happen.

I imagine we get someone in vrains who somehow makes it to infinite Lp but loses to a instant win effect
