The "easiest" way to summon Super Fusion God would probably be Chain Material, and even then you'd have to run a deck that has 12 different levels in it.

Masquerade not necessarily. The yubel forms are levels 10-12, so you don't need gate guardian (if you are yubel) yubel ran chain material and intentionally had a deck with a level 11 monster to circumvent that issue

That's actually how Yubel tried to do it in the anime, so you're onto something!

I'm still pretty irked about the "Fire Dragon" monster never being revealed or released. The first Legendary Duelists booster which included new cards for Bastion would have been an absolutely ideal outlet for this card. Missed opportunity, Konami!

Knowing my GX fusions, Colorless would probably have been a huge beatstick that deals piercing damage and can maybe attack multiple times or deal some additional burn damage... with no protection to speak of.

Personal theory: the fusion failing had nothing to do with Timaeus not trusting Yami. It was actually just Yami attempting to create a Fusion Monster that didn't exist, thus an illegal move.

I think you could make that argument for either situation, to be honest. I don't think there's a rule that states that a card destroys itself when it decides not to work due to divine intervention.

Another mysterious cards are V Undine, V Gnome and V Sylph, who were in Yuma's hand in Episode 96 of Zexal. Although their stats are known, their artworks and effects are still a mystery. The only Elemental that was released is V Salamander, whose effects help Utopia and Utopia Ray V.

Since Colorless Chaos King of Dark World finally got printed, we could finally see that fusion monster Yugi tried to Summon against Weevil.

Number 6 seems like Grand Convergence, seeing the card effect and the deck Banner is playing.

If only they printed Bastion's Magnet Warriors for additional support

If you would have told me a year or two ago if any of these cards had any chance of being released I would have said no. However, since cosmic blazar dragon got released, which was another unknown card from 5ds, I do see hope for one day these cards being released.

I think what's more fascinating is whoever decides to bring such concepts back in the first place cause you know artwork like those were years ago and done by Kazuki Takahashi back when Yugioh was still new (I'm pretty sure) and for that matter if they somehow implement the same shading style for said creature, I mean based on cards from the past, I guess the answer to my own pondering is obvious

When i was young i was hoping for a "Fire dragon" in his 8th deck vs jaden and with a fusion monster called "Steam dragon" or something, but bastion was becoming each season in a minor character :(

Other than the Bastion bashing, best line is definitely "Mirror Force changes a man" XD Great vid Dylan!

Considering Konami's trands lately we're getting Fire Dragon in 3-5 years tops. Blue-Eyes spell based on Battle City bracket machine was announced this or last week... They are seriously running out of ideas. I wouldn't be surprised if we get all cards from the list eventually.

The number C version of lion heart (Gauche was going to summon it in the tag duel with Yuma, Droite and Alito, but Yuma stopped it)

Contact fusion doesn't involve the use of spell or trap cards, only 2 monsters (or more, depending on the fusion monster), and can be preformed with face down monsters. The legendary dragon cards work like normal fusion spells/traps, but only require 1 material.

If I remember correctly they say thay each elemental hero has two mode like flame wing man and phoenix enforcer based on the two monsters used to make it and which one has dominance but we only see that one exception because of the neo spacions.

As of may 6th 2023 Colorless king dark lord of chaos has now been announced.

Well you say many, but Yugioh has like 1000+ cards it's more like because it seems like anything can be a Yugioh card it's just irksome that some never got released period even if they do suck in terms a playability EVEN MORE SO if they are cards you see in the anime you just assume anything you see in the anime will just automatically be released in the actually game

Yugioh Everything Even more amazing to see someone actually make a deck around that Super Fusion God irl if it actually existed.Given half the deck will be monsters of 2-3 copies for the level requirement and protection,the other half will have to be stall/draw/add from deck effects and a lot of luck that you don't brick over half the time.

With the recent support, leon, bastion and chazz have gotten as of late, I could see some of these cards reintroduced. Also, chain material is a thing, so the super fusion combo is possible in real life, if we ever get the card.

If I were a card maker I would give it the effect to let you draw two cards, I mean there aren't many if any cards that lets you draw two cards, there's Bistro butcher and Level Modulator that lets your opponent draw two cards, but that's stuff you want your opponent to do to you

I think Pot of Greed's effect is to cause confusion. Right?

I am more interested on cards we have never seen from the actual card game lore like Ojama Lime. I would like Fire Dragon to be released. I can think of what kind of cards they could print to summon it and its effect would likely be the opposite to Water Dragon but more focused on burn.

I think Colorless is a possibility, Konami is remaking old structure decks, in one or two years if we don't get this card when the deck is out, we probably never will.

Well Dragunity is currently the newest Structure Deck R and after that are Agents & Darkworlds, so it's possible. Down the line we might get all of these cards it's just a matter of time, hell even fossils were made now after 10+ years.

Really makes me want to look back though out the series and find more mystery cards. awesome video i hope their is a part two to this video in the future.

If I remember correctly, they tried to give Shun pendulums either right before the Sora duel or when they were preparing to go to synchro, but Shun refused because he's a loner or whatever. Judging by Lunalight and Superheavy getting pendulums at this time, it would make sense for Raid Raptor to have some made as well, since Pendulum and Action cards were the Lancer's weapons.

Also Chain Material is probably the only reasonable way of using Super Poly for Super Fusion God

This was great to watch. I learned a lot.

Poison Butterfly possible Timaeus Fusion Posion Dragonfly Level 5 WIND [Insect/Fusion/Effect] "Posion Butterfly" + 1 Dragon monster Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials or with "The Eye of Timaeus". If your opponent controls an Insect monster, gains 500 ATK during the Battle Phase only. ATK/2700 DEF/1800 (That's my guess of the Fusion name and effect)

I want a Poison Butterfly and Poison Butterfly (Dragon) fusion card. Also since it has to work with Eye of Timaeus I think Poison Butterfly should have one of these effects: "Reveal one card in your deck and this card becomes part of the same archetype" Kinda like Elemental HERO Prisma only its centered around a card Archetype rather than a card name

This was a really interesting topic for a Top 10 video! I remembered the Misawa, Yugi and Dark World ones, the others were kind of a surprise. If I had to chose, I'd like to see the two fusion cards. I means, Super Fusion being a requisite? I don't even know if there are real cards that can only be summoned by Super Fusion xD

To this day my guess is that both Colorless chaos king. And the Fusion Yubel was going to use. Are alt win condition cards. Their effect was likely the following. "If this card is summoned, you win the Duel." Which would explain why they were among the few times a boss was teased but never summoned. And Fire Dragon was likely part of the original script plans for Bastion to be Jaden's rival instead of aster or Chaz. Something that was scrapped early on. Making it a scrapped monster much like the original 5th signer dragon before they decided to turn Crow into one and made Black Wing Dragon.

Colorless is going to be made, Konami is remaking old structure decks, have faith. In one episode of Zexal, Yuma defeats a number Hunter named Fortuna (Jin in the sub). Fortuno is defeated and hands over two number cards, but manages to hold on to one that he had hidden away. Before we see what it is, Kite claims it. While we can eliminate any number that was shown being obtained elsewhere, it's safe to say that we'll never narrow down what the mystery number was.

Well they did make all 100 numbers so that one should be one of them.

8:08 Cybernetic fusion support allows the use of the graveyard, hand and field for materials, so theoretically it'd be possible if you got enough machine type monsters scattered throughout those 3 locations. But I have a feeling it'd be like an exodia card where once you summon it you just win the duel.

I would want the fire dragon and Professor Banner's unknown spell card to be released. Although If I had to choose between the two, it would be the unknown spell card.

At first I thought that meteor card was Jurassic Impact cause of falling meteors, but then it showed the monsters evaporating so then I thought "Well maybe not"

ULGROTHA a quick Google search showed me a game called "little alchemy 2" saying how to make a meteor and an ost from the anime "Full metal alchemist" is titled "fire from the sky"

Konami loves printing cards years after we were first introduced to them in the anime/manga. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these cards printed at some point in the future. Nice video Dylan!

Both are right since super fusion is the translated OCG name for the card.

yh lemme explain the literal translation side of it any card with polymerization in its english name is called "Yuugou" in japanese (or this 融合) which is translated to Fusion in some subs of the duel monsters + gx anime any card with fusion in it's name is called "Fyujon" in japanese (or フュージョン) which is also translated to Fusion in the subs but konami actually did something smart for once so if a card only searches for フュージョン cards then nothing with 融合 is searched or vice versa, but super poly is the more accurate name

The most interessting thing is honestly the german yugioh dub. It calls regular poly "Fusion" but it calls super poly "Super Polymerization" regardless, so it funnily enough uses both Names.

Ojama Lime, Ojama Indigo and Ojama angel were eaten by the current Ojamas on Solidarity. speaking of Ojama. They made them into an Chazz archetype combining it with VWXYZ and armed Dragon. When will we see Cyberdarkroid support?

Supreme Meteor shower: Destroy all monsters your opponent controls that's level is less then the monster on your side of the field with the highest level. Idk exaclty what was being played during those duels but this is my assumption of the meteor card.

#6 could possibly have been Grand Convergence or Planet Alignment. Probably not though, but it's worth mentioning. The problem is of course the animation, as well as the setting: Macro Cosmos and the Helios series (requirements for those 2 destructive cards) were clearly intended to be a last resort (just like Pegasus with his 0/0 illusion monsters), but there's no reason to believe "Amnael" was forced to go that far against anyone except for Judai.

How about a list of the best/most intriguing cards that appear in the show, but haven't been released in the actual card game?

My guess is since back then direct attacks didn't exist (at least in season 1 of duel monsters, I.E. Duelist Kingdom) they had it so if a monster is destroyed by an effect the owner of the monster loses LP equal to.. whatever

#6 could easily be Raigeki. The card art is of a red burst of energy coming downwards, and the effect is destroy all your opponents monsters. It fits, but we'll never know.

Theoretically, Super Fusion God is possible to summon since: 1. It can only be summoned via Super Poly, so chances are, you would use your opponent's field as well if you fall short. 2. Another way is to summon 5 of the required materials, and leave the remaining 7 in your hand, but this itself is improbable, even if you were able to pull a Card of Sanctity+Pot of Greed anime-style combo (not to mention, the ridiculous amount of top decking that would make even Yugi fall to his knees).

What about that card Pegasus had the little boy use against Bandit Keith? It was weaker than Keith's monster, was a normal type monster, yet somehow won the duel

Actully fun fact.That card the little boy used is now released and it has a insta win condition xD The card is called "Flying Elephant". you can find it on the yu gi oh wiki.

Cards like these have always been interesting and intriguing, not only regarding what they do, their effects/stats/etc, but also as to why some of them never made an appearance since they were clearly meant to (like Fire Dragon). With the release of Cosmic Blazar Dragon about a year a few months ago and the recent release of Flying Elephant though, I think there is hope for some of these cards like Colorless or Fire Dragon in the future. I didn't remember some of these like the one in Leon's flashback or Amnael's card so thanks for reminding me.

Glad you learned something new PyrQ! Yeah they are very intriguing, and as you mentioned with Blazar getting released, anything is possible for the future of these cards! :D

I'm certain Bastion was meant to play a much bigger role in the series, he even mention he had 6 decks(one for each attribute I suppose) and was trying to built a seven 'ultimate' deck from those six to beat Jaden, however in their 'final showdown' he didn't use neraly as many new cards as it would seems logical.

I don't think people care to much for him. He suppose to represent the Yellow Ra student in the beginning and a second rival to Jaden, but after Syrus got upgraded and Hassleberry show up, the show didn't have anything else to do with him. Me personally found Zane, Chazz and Jesse more interesting than him.

True. I'm just going through cards that have the effect of destroying opponents monsters. It's worth nothing that both times it was used the opponent only had 1 monster out

I was thinking rageki too, after all in the anime cards have been shown with different looks from time to time, such as the second, third and fourth Dark Magicians in Yugi's Duel with Arkana

Yuya had plenty of monsters that didn't have either effects or attack/defense points.I think there was a possibility that bastion's fire dragon could've came back, but instead they gave us a 2 headed Water Dragon. For me its a toss up between the dark world card, the mystic revolution card, and of course, Bastion's fire dragon card.

I still want to see a Fire Dragon Card. Bastion was always my favorite character of GX so that monster in the opening always intrigued me. Also I heard a lot of duel monsters season 5 cards from that filler arc are indeed going to be realeased

I think it'd be awesome to see the Mystic series and Amneal's spell get released. Maybe they'll do so eventually in one of the Battles of Legends packs... Also, it seems that according to the lore of "Mystic Egg", when it's destroyed by battle, you can at the end phase randomly special summon one of the three "Baby" monsters from the hand or deck, so it makes me wonder if maybe Blair might've had the other two Baby monsters in her hand but that the randomness chose the dragon from her deck instead, or vice versa. Plus, if it's considered a "random" special summon, who's to say we couldn't have seen one of the other two Baby monsters instead of the Dragon, though considering that Mystic Dragon's attack was the highest, maybe there's another reason Flair chose the card instead of the other two...

Actually the most broken anime monster card out of all of these is "chaos end ruler: ruler of the beginning and the end" It was that much powerful that was never played in a duel and it was banned even in anime lmfao It was shown in yugioh zexal as a part of a legendary deck but also the owner of the card and that deck was never shown That card deserves a number 1 spot in this list:(

What about a card version for Two-headed Jackal Warrior? He was pretty dope.

You forgot one in Zexal that Nistro/Gauche could've Ranked-up Lion Heart but he regained his senses before he could.

It's possible the Fire Dragon monster was supposed to represent Bastions desire for balance in dueling. The boy was a mathematical genius and crafted his decks to not rely on sheer luck to get good cards. Water Dragon with Fire Dragon symbolizes Yin and Yang, neutrality.

Here's one thought; Atem can't fuse Eye of Timaeus with Poison Butterfly because according to the text of Eye of Timaeus, it must be fused with a "Dark Magician" monster, which Poison Butterfly isn't. So the spell card probably sent itself to the graveyard because no appropriate target was found for its effect. Whether it was trying to cheat his way out of fusion requirements or simply not being able to read your card text, Timaeus was smart to get out of there.

The card Banner used. That intrigues me a lot because it seems to work like a cross between Meteor of Destruction and Raigeki. Is it a tourney banned card in the anime, which their list is super short, or is it a card with a unique requirement to use? It and Fire Dragon are on my want list for at least a manga special. I just want to know more.

Man, who knew a lot of GX cards would be here? Also, there's a trap card called Chain Material that can use monsters from basically everywhere on your side, which makes it possible.
