Well DnD were a big theme in the manga wich shows lots of events that happened before the very first episode of the anime. Like the main Bakura Arc that basically was repeated in the last arc of the anime and the manga. Also In the manga they state that Duel Kingdom will have some special rules that the regular game didn't, so without any known rules yet, you literally could do anything you want.

Kaibaman is the mascot of Kaibaland. Who later became a card due to Seto Kaiba and Maximilian Pegasus working together in advancing the card game and it's popularity. Which is clearly seen with the comparison of the series and the DSOD movie

Kaiba is ridiculous. In the span of like, what, 2 years? He went from super bulky duel arenas, to tech so advanced (stupidly advanced to the point of making the future seasons of yugioh seem almost low tech in comparison despite taking place in the future) that you could duel with your thoughts and teleport into the underworld.

Its kinda similar to iron man, kaiba is repurposing his fathers, companies planned weapons of destruction. Also the shows are not canon compared to the manga,

The craziest thing about Duel Kingdom was the fact that the holograms machines were programed to do whatever the players wanted to do lmao

#1 - As ridiculous as the moment itself is, it's equally ridiculous that they bothered to adapt the moment into a card and DIDN'T allow it to destroy your own Spell/Trap.

I'm not going to lie, I'm a massive 5D's fan, and a fan of Yusei's "Warrior" synchro's, but I never once noticed until I saw this clip that "Signal Warrior" was a transformed version of Yusei's Duel Runner. That baffled and amazed me to discovered that, and the Speed World 2 similar effects with "Signal Warrior's" signal counter abilities never even clicked in my mind until now either. 😅But thanks for revealing that 😄

I would be expecting "This Creepy Little Punk" to appear in the next list specially because is based in a line from the dub despite having one of the coolest names in the Japanese version "Return of the reaper" that symbolized Kiryu's return to crash town for the final duel against the main antagonist of this Arc.

Yu-Jo friendship is quite weird but what a pun name. Combination of two names AND it’s Japanese for friendship. So the card is called "friendship friendship" Highway to forever gives a very 80's song title

For “Attack the Moon”’s original name, “Moon Scraper”, I think it could have one of two meanings. It could be like a Skyscraper, since the Giant Soldiers of Stone and Steel are so tall that they scrape not just the sky, but the moon too. Alternatively, it could be that Scraper is also a play on words off of Scrapper, both implying that the Giant Soldier is reducing the moon to scraps, and referencing the junk pile they are standing it, also known as a Scrapyard.

I like the small detail of Photon Orbital being in its dueling mode so it looks distinct from Orbital 7 who doesn't have a duel disk. I like it when retrains actually look like there is something different in their design and not just the same thing but with a different pose.

Someday, there's gonna be a Top 10 Yu-Gi-Oh Monsters with the Weirdest/Nonsensical Typings. I seriously would love to see cards like Skull Knight, a three-way tie between Obsessed People, People Running About and United Residence and a few others get referenced on that hypothetical countdown.

@@christopherb501 Skull Knight is a Spellcaster Type monster. It's weird because nothing about this monster screams Spellcaster. Think about it for a second. It has a demonic/skeletal Knight appearance to him. So, ignoring his confirmed Monster Type for a minute, what would you assume his typing would be? For me, I think of either Warrior, Zombie, or the best option, Fiend. Except, he's neither of those types. Plus there's the fact that it's a Fusion Monster and his materials require two brain monster; Ancient Brain and Tainted Wisdom. Both of which are classified as Fiend Types. So with everything I say, do you seen the reasoning why I say Skull Knight's typing is weird and nonsensical?

@@christopherb501 In terms of Paladin of White Dragon, many monsters that are seen riding a dragon are classified as Dragon Type monsters. And as for Dark Flare Knight, while it is classified as a Spellcaster, there are a few knights that are classified as Spellcasters due to them possessing magic in their abilities. Neo the Magical Swordsman as an example. Plus, there's the possible argument that Dark Magician is the dominating part of that Fusion. Same thing with Dark Paladin.

I mean, Orbital 7 DID FUCKING DIED on the Moon.

I think it would be neat to see a card that allowed you to fuse a monster to another to weaken it. Like when Yugi fused Mammoth Graveyard to Kaiba's Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Or more fusions, like when Dark Magician & Flame Swordsman were combined.

wrong, limit overdrive's summon doesn't count as a synchro summon because it doesn't say (this special summon is treated as a synchro summon). For yu-jo you don't have to make a handshake, just accept the offering of handshare. Technically, halfway feature 2 archetypes (yes, utopic is a seperate thing, not just an alternative or subtype of utopia) and both utopia and utopic are extra not main deck theme.

We just need a joeyman for red eyes or a doggy costume for joey's archetypes

Awakening of the sacred beasts are supposed to be the moment when they start to get more power with all the spirits getting sacrificed in the duel for them Cerulean Skyfire is Hamon's Signature attack Dimensional Fusion Destruction is literally an anime card that Yubel used when they were possessing Johan in season 3 (Fun fact about this card btw, its OCG name is Death By Dimensional Fusion/Dimensional Fusion Murder) Fallen Paradise is also from the anime

Oof, I only rewatched the first season Sacred Beast duel to refresh my memory, so I forgot about the visuals with Yubel and the Sacred Beasts. I guess I should've just said "other Sacred Beast cards" since they didn't look like one for one recreations like Spirit Gates did to me. Looks like Sacred Beasts will be getting another spot in a future edition of this topic! They probably were going to anyone since I wanted to cover Magistery Alchemist in another video.

Poor Earthbound Immortals. They can't work together and can't survive without a fieldspell. And their effects and support cards are outdated on arrival. They really need a hug. I am not going to hug them, or my soul will be consumed.

I remember in a very non-competitive deck I used to have, I put in Attack the Moon depite the fact that it didn't have much utility in the deck or even in general, it was just fun to play a card called "Attack the Moon"

He loves that card (he would sleep with that deck)

An honorable card to mention is "Dimension Explosion". While not a reference to any specific scene, it is a highlight to both the GX and the Duel Monster Era and how they kinda versus each other ! You should make the second part when Maze of Memories drops in TCG !

The best card game on earth.

It is hysterical that judgement meter has returned. Her chims are heavily silly and the male sing the dub of GX season one theme song is cute. The duel links quotes about kite and his robot is silly and the Christmas party that judgement meter brought about kaiba man made me laugh as everyone dislike him but will immediately get fired if anyone said something. I am not surprised that "attack the moon" is the last card as that is also a card that leaves me scratching my head but the duelist kingdom arc is where Yu-Gi-Oh was most enjoyable where "it is night time my monsters can hind in the dark" sort of speak has made me laugh or the maze monster is a field spell with different rules. Great video and I can not wait for KZread to recommend another video to me in the future. Part two when, as I will "high five the sky" on the like button ha ha.

I demand you to make list of Tournament events in Fighting games such as -The King of Iron Fist (Tekken -World Warrior Tournament (streer fighter) -Mortal Kombat You can breakdown its sponsors, the host, the motive and the prize

Signal Warrior was my go to level 7 in Duel Links, he can't be destroyed and that saved my butt a few times. We now have Synchro Over Top, which lets you summon a 5 material Quasar if you control Lifestream.

I literally got the Signal Warrior I ordered as I was watching his segment 😂. I plan to use him in my Stardust deck

The reason why Instant Contact has no Air Neos Is both ridiculous and obscure at the same time, since there's already something called Air Neos, namely an Italian airline founded in 2001, five years before being premiered in Yugioh GX and six years before being released in Strike of Neos, so maybe they never reprinted it because of that. Either that or there are some legal shenanigans with the TV station that owns the rights to the Anime won't let them use the card.

Funny part about limit overdrive is I believe you can’t summon shooting quasar dragon because you two tuners, and if you don’t because it is level 12 most stardust decks don’t run a level 4 tuner

I find it hilarious that Yu-Jo Friendship actually had to have a special rule written that the handshake is metaphorical instead of literal because people would intentionally put gross things on their hands to stop people from using the card.

Umm, Orbital's tasks could get that extreme.... as evidence where he actually gave it his all to keep his space suit mode going as long as possible for Kite to have his last duel. Oh, btw... I'm pretty sure Yuma actually used "Halfway to Forever" and "Hi Five the Sky" IN THE ANIME (final duel in fact, him Vs Astral).... dose that mean the anime got meta there?

Kaibaman could have been good, maybe, if it were printed with the original sets. I mean, back then in the beatdown meta, a single tribute that doesn't take your normal summon to get out a 3000 attack monster. That could have uses.

Always wondered what if they made a card for Zord Necrophades, though have seen fan made designs that give an idea of how it would look

This anime is complex and beautiful and makes you think about many things 🥰

Some little corrections: 12:43 Limit Overdrive does NOT count as a Synchro Summon. Its like Cyber Stein, that special summon a specific Extra Deck Monster straight from the Extra Deck. But because you need a Tuner and a Non Tuner Synchro Monster the Card kinda mimics a Synchro Summon. 04:11 Actually Yuseis "Warrior" Cards ARE an Archetype. There is a Card named "Stardust Warrior" that can summon other "Warrior" Synchro Monsters. It does not summon "Warrior-Type" Cards. It can only summon Monsters with "Warrior" in its Card Name.

Kaibaman is called "Seigi no Mikata Kaibaman", literally means "Ally of Justice, Kaibaman". XD

@@MrTopTenList, yeah, 4Kids dub and TCG made it just Kaibaman so it wasn't noticeable. It's only noticeable in the Japanese voiced games like Duel Links and Tag Force games. GX anime in the original dub is obvious, though. And the helmet is what makes him Kaibaman, his Blue-Eyes White Dragon fetish/obsession. XD

You should add two co-hosts at least for double the fun !

I always disappointed when KZread doesn't inform subscribers about new videos. I wish there was more I could do outside of telling people to generally check the channel every other week, but that's been my only solution. As for the ads, I generally put one every 2 to 3 entries, but they shouldn't play at every ad point. I'll take a look at that with the next upload.

How come during the E-Hero section Wildedge was the only one not commented on?
